1. Go to the start button
2. Search Run
3. Type appdata or %appdata%
4. Go to Roaming
5. Go to .minecraft
6. Go to the 'version' folder
7.Go to the 1.6.1 folder (or version name folder)
8. Open 1.6.1.jar (Or version name jar) with WinRar or 7zip
9. Put your mod contents in it and delete META-INF
10. Play
11. Profit
Remember this is UNTESTED because I couldn't find a 1.6 mod.
Tell me if this works and I will remove UNTESTED from the title.
Confirmed this dosn't work, because if you change the version file it downloads it again
even just deleteing the "META-INF" folder causes a download
If you want to do a test and dont have a mod, change one of the textures, now in the assets folder
I also tried adding my own version folder, but it didnt recognise it
Proper Tutorial
