Hi. Recently I downloaded Buildcraft for my server. It looks fine, but I always get the same message after I try to connect to the server.
If it helps, my operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I did everything as followed by the offical BuildCraft website. Any help?

BAD PACKET ID 230 means you didn't install the client mod.

You need to download the client version in order to get in the server

To install the client mod to Buildcraft, go to http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/download/buildcraft-for-minecraft-1-0-0/ and download all of the files where it says "Client and SSP". Open them in WinRAR (or some other archive program, not winzip) and open minecraft.jar in WinRAR (found in %appdata%\.minecraft\bin). Copy contents from buildcraft archive to minecraft.jar. Hope that helps!

The sarcastic attitude is easy to be seen. It's not appealing, by the way. Also, you did help me. You helped me realize how idiotic you are.

Lets not fight, you do know your argument can be seen by everyone on the internet.
I installed all the packets and i still have the error.
By the way, when i use toomanyitems, there is still only the default things. nothing new

My friend had a similar error when he tried to connect to my server. We solved it by disabling a smp vanilla mod he had installing on his minecraft, even though the mod wasn't install on my server the server didn't seem to like it.

this is odd my friend get the same but bad packet id 249

yet on the same pc i can log in and play with out any problems

anyideas what is going on?
