Also, the game doesn't "Crash" really....Java just becomes unresponsive forever. Gave it a good 30 minutes one time and it never recovered.
Have a friend who's laptop is having some issues with both Minecraft 1.14+ and any version of MC with Forge installed.

Seems the problem program was something called PremierOpinion. After it removed that, things seem to be working for her.
