When attempting to launch Minecraft on my desktop (Windows and the comptuer I usually use to play Minecraft), it prompted me to log in as normal. However, when I tried logging in, it failed and gave me a message of "Could not connect to server" (picture attached). This is weird because then I tried logging into my account on another computer (also a Windows, but a laptop instead of a desktop), and my game launched and was running fine from there with everything working as it should be. The game was working fine everyday before today for both my desktop and laptop.
I also noticed that when accessing the main minecraft.net page, it was all in Mandarin Chinese, thinking I was from the area there? Despite this, all other sites gave me my correct location (another pic of this is attached). From my laptop with the working game, it was minecraft.net/en-us while my Desktop with the failed log-in showed minecraft.net/zh-hans instead. Additionally, I can't log in at minecraft.net on my desktop, but I can on the laptop with the working game.
I have tried restarting my desktop, reinstalling minecraft, and my internet connection for it is fine as well. I have not tried restarting the router. Something to note is that my friend went on it earlier today and tried installing something to Minecraft. However, I deleted all of the contents installed there before trying to restart my desktop and the other methods I stated that I tried.
