Hello. I am having a problem now while trying to launch sky factory 3. I get to Minecraft launcher and then click play then it gets to load the game then stop at 3/7 loading then it crashes and gives me the error (java.langOutOfMemoryError)
Could someone help me with the error I would be appreciated
ps. Sorry for bad English. I’m Mexican
You need to allocate more memory to MC. SF3 is 1.10.2, which requires at least 4G memory allocated.
Changing the memory depends on the launcher your using.

I’m using the new launcher, I kinda nooby at doing these type of things. I do it the way people do it, but it doesn’t work. I think it’s cuz they don’t use the new launcher. Could someone help on allocating more ram. I only have 4 gb of ram
On the new launcher:
1. Click on Launch Options
2. Check Advanced Settings
3. Click on the Profile your using
4. Check JVM arguments
5. Change the -Xmx#G value (# is the number of memory)
If you have only 4G system RAM, your going to be limited. Never allocate more than half of the system RAM. Try allocating 2G. If it still crashes, then your options are adding more system RAM, or using another PC.

Alrighty, I think I’ll just upgrade to windows 10 64 bit because my laptop used to be windows 8.1 pro but I downgraded to a windows 7 home premium 32 bit so I’ll just undo that I’ll try doing 2 gb of ram. I think it was limited or something due to 32 bit windows. I really just probably need a new laptop or computer mines is almost 8 years old. Thanks a lot for helping, just needed some quick help
Your welcome. Using a 64 bit OS is much better for both Java and memory. Your limited to about 3G max (I think) with 32 bit.
