Steps I have tried
Uninstall everything then reinstall everything (minecraft, java), latest versions, multiple times
Use an older version of Java (jre7)
Disable my antivirus and firewall completely (I saw a solution to this problem is to uninstall McAfee – _I don't use McAfee, I use Windows Defender (default antivirus of Windows 10), and I disabled it)
Reboot my PC many times
Update all my drivers
Spend a week looking on Google trying to solve this problem but no luck so far
Few things to consider
I only have this problem with Java 64bit. Before, I was using the java 32bit version and it was fine. But I want to be able to use Java 64bit now.

Check your Firewall and Antivirus.
I don't want to be rude but did you even read my post ? I clearly said that I disabled my antivirus and firewall completely and it still doesn't work

Actually I've just become made aware that there are (at least) two flavors of the "child event loop" crash.
The 'normal' firewall / AV one has a root cause
But this one has
As such, you should try resetting the socket.
Open a cmd.exe window as administrator
Type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes
reboot.
