i have big stutters that make the game unplayable, since the 1.7.10 update. it ran fine for 1.6.4, with stutters of this nature very rare.
now it happens all the time , big ones.
its related to chunk loading i believe. i am able to stand in one spot and look around with no problem, but as soon as i start moving around and loading new chunks in, as the chunks load i get these huge spikes.
i try to set my ram allocation to 6 GB in the launcher. but in game it tells me in the f3 that it is allocated to 1287 MB, not 6 GB. im not sure what that is about.
no idea where to start now. and cant find any results when searching for this problem on google or this forum.
if anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated ! thanks
here is a screenshot of my f3 view that shows that i do not have 6 GBs of ram allocated apparently, even though i have it set to that in both places that you need to set it, in the minecraft launcher and also in the java properties.
i am running with 64 bit java as well.
