Well I know you guys love the CM HAF series and recently they released a new mid tower chassis in the HAF line-up, the HAF XM. even though its only a mid tower it can still hold up to 3 graphics cards, large CPU coolers, two 200mm fans in the top, and one 200mm fan in the front. You can also remove the hard drive cage and mount an SSD on the back of the motherboard tray (whatever you want to call it), which is great for installing radiators in the front without sacrificing anything. The cable management is absolutely amazing giving you plenty room to run cables through the back. There is a sliding cover at the bottom of the chassis to cover the PSU cables. Overall it's looking pretty bad... Urr I mean pretty cool (almost forgot about the no cursing rule).
This is old news, but I think the case is pretty cool. I like how there is a 2.5" on the front panel, plus 2 X-Dock bays, which, with the drive bays removed, still provides plenty of storage, with great radiator support.

So the Hardware Canucks review says there's a windowed side panel version, but I can't find any available for purchase, either as the side window sold separately, or the case with a side window included. Both are shown on Cooler Master's site, though.
This is pretty much the only HAF case I would consider buying. It looks great, IMO.
Yup, when I initially saw it I ignored it because, well its a HAF case, and while they look bad you know what (I am beginning to see why people hate the new rule), they aren't the slickest, simplest looking chassis on the market. However once I actually looked into the XM I thought it was pretty slick and nice looking.

Yeah, generally I like minimalist chassis (with a window. I know), but the HAF XM is surprisingly nice.
yup, between the top and front mounts you can get 600mm2 of radiator surface area, which is the same compared to most water cooling chassis which have 3x120mm in the top, and 2x120mm in the front. Having the 200mm fans means you can keep them at lower rpms to get the same amount of airflow...
It's a good case, but the only HAF series case I like is the 912. The others just have a bulky look to them that doesn't appeal to me. I eventually plan on hopefully getting another flat side panel for my 912 Plus and having someone cut a window out of it. I could just buy the window but for me the fan mount just kills the look.

Nobody's perfect, so neither is Hannah Montana Linux, but it's pretty great.

They all suck. They just suck differently. Sort of like prostitutes.
Doesn't pretty much the entire HAF series have bad cable management?
Are you kidding me? Pretty much all of the HAF cases have excellent cable management. The only one that falls a bit short of other cases is the HAF 922, but they have been trying to make it a better case. So far they have done nothing with the cable management, but they have given it a black interior which is great since it used to be bare metal.

I have the 912, I love it. It isn't the fanciest, but that's why I like it. It just sits under my desk- what else doe sit need besides the LED fans I added?

Only thing it needs for me is a black interior and a side window which is why I got the Plus version with black interior. Now it just needs a window and one day a custom loop. That won't be for quite some time though.

So what do you guys think? I know the HAF series is popular on this forum so I figured someone had to make a post.

The HAF series have some of the best cable management available, including little mounting holes for your zipties.

I don't really have anything to compare it against, so I'll let you guys decide.
