I swim defiantly in an ocean of nihilism. It's an existence where everything I create sinks into an endless abyss. I go on creating meaning in the darkness, nonetheless. The light in the darkness flickers only briefly, but I have been able to guide friends and family to solid ground where they can build something lasting. So, I carry on in the depths of meaninglessness, like a beacon. Maybe one day, I too, will be able to build something lasting on land. But that will have to wait until everyone that I care about is free from that abyss. Honestly, I don't know how I go on. It's probably the lights from the shore built by those who were once where I am that gives me the strength to live with nothing beneath my feet but the endless black.
