A few days ago, I came across a fantastically made fan April Fools MAD for the game Yandere Simulator; after I finished watching it, a thought occurred to me: "Wait, doesn't this voice acting and music sound familiar?"
After having that thought, I replayed the video a couple times to try and jog my memory. I couldn't place where I had heard it. I gave up after awhile, thinking it would come to me after a while. It didn't.
The next day, I tried humming the melody into Soundhound and Shazam in hopes that I would find the source; when that didn't work, I tried using Musipedia's rhythm tapper feature. As was to be expected, the results were inconclusive. When that didn't work, I tried typing the speech in Japanese and then searching it on Google.jp; yet again, I wasn't able to find anything.
Since then, the piano BGM in the video has been stuck in my head and the fact that I am unable to pinpoint where I've heard this before has been bugging me a lot.
I know I've hear the voice actor and the music before, but I don't have the time to dig through my collection of Visual Novels and try to find the source (it would be amazing if I had that sort of time).
I know it would be easier to just ask the video creator what the VN the audio in the video is from, however, I do not have any accounts on the platforms the artist uses and personal circumstances prevent me from doing such.
So, to all reading, I would like to ask a favor: could someone please tell me what visual novel the audio in the MAD is from? Or at least who the voice actor is.
I know this is probably an odd place to ask such, but any help would be appreciated.
