Don't know if I should make a third app. Should I wait and try to help the community even more than I am now, or should I risk getting denied a fourth time?
P.S How come when I see someone become a mod, they seem to post less?

You should probably wait, making apps back to back after being rejected multiple times just makes you look desperate.
And really, mods don't post that much less. If they do post less, it's because they're busy moderating.

If you are improving your app and post quality as you continue to re-apply, couldn't it be worth it to make multiple iterations? I know a couple of mods re-applied with simple grammar fixes to get the job.

That's pretty much the summary of what I did. I'm not sure if it was the FA at the time when I first applied (if you've read some of the posts from August, you'll know what I mean) , or it was something else, but I reapplied about a month later and got the job. In all honesty, app quality doesn't matter a whole ton. It's just to tell the FA's your intentions and a little about you, but the decision of you becoming a moderator does not depend 100% on it. Realistically, your post quality and where you post are the biggest deciding factors. There are a lot of apps that are not even that long but still got approved. But to answer your question, it depends on who it is. Servers was a unique situation when I first applied. I never really knew why I didn't get approved because the admin said they couldn't go into specifics. So when citric made that post, I reapplied and look what happened. That was a special situation I guess you could say, however. If you improve your posts, etc. and reapply again, I don't blame you. But if you're just going to make back to back applications without even attempting to fix whatever is wrong, it makes you look desperate. And even if you improved your posts, etc. a week after getting rejected, I still think it's a bit early to reapply. Maybe that person is just determined and really wants to be a moderator, I don't know. I would say the bare minimum to wait between mod apps is a month. That's just my opinion though.
Can some of the staff give me some tips on contributing more to the forums and anything else that would my app.
Contributing more won't necessarily help. You want to help people, and actually post in the sections you want. Make sure your posts are good and high quality. You want to help the forum be a nice place.

One thing I have always followed is that quality should be greater than quantity. Also make sure that when applying, you apply for the sections you actually would like to moderate, rather than all of them. Be as helpful when posting as possible.
They will w/o you asking, don't worry.

If you're going to leave, leave. Please don't stick around making pointless posts like this, they're spam.

Citric is about to go full Kracken mode...

Two big things:
1. Make a lot of good reports
2. make well thought out posts
3. don't break the rules
lol, thought that was a given

If you edited your application, it might have sent out a deny for each instance.
If we were to tell everyone who was denied, it would take forever considering there were several thousand apps
