Simple question. I've always noticed this similarity; between every forum I've seen. You can never see the amount of views for the thread while viewing the thread. You always have to navigate back to the subset forum, scroll through pages, and locate the thread to reveal this information. This just seems like a bit of information people would be interested in and could save time. Am I way off base here?
I also thought it was very interesting to see people who are currently viewing threads/forum subsets....which isn't on this forum either. I realize I might sound like I'm attempting to uproot the very foundations of what is minecraftforum.net...well maybe not that harshly, but I'm just trying to see what other's thoughts are on some add-ons like this.

We used to have this, but sadly it was removed to improve performance. Too many people and it was causing issues.

That is quite unfortunate. I would think this site would have enough resources to run something like that, but oh well.
The problem is how much that drains the resources. The site already has to deal with the massive number of posts as well as I think it was around 100,000,000 page views per month.
