Personally, I think it's a waste of money. All I would do with it is use the curse client to store Minecraft worlds in the cloud, but I've already made a system for that.
Also, there should be an UN-install feature for the curse client, cause when I realized that you needed Curse Premium to do anything with it, I wanted to get rid of it, so I had to go through and delete everything individually...
Cure Premium offers nothing of great use to me. Yes, it is available for a great price, but the services it offers aren't very expansive.
-Removes ads-Advertisements on the Minecraft Forum are nonexistant to me and most likely a great deal of others, through means of ad-blocking broswer add-ons.
-Changes name color-A feature that is nice, but isn't worth paying money for.
-Giveaway entry-This feature isn't of much use to me either, I can still enter giveaways without having to pay a monthly fee.
-Exclusive Forum-I can't say much about this feature as I've never seen these exclusive forums, but it seems like the player-base would be much less compared to the original Minecraft Forum.
This person summed up everything. The only reason I have Curse premium, I think, is due to receiving an automated message a year ago, telling me that I was going to receive it for making such a popular texture pack. After I made a Curse account and responded to the bot, who was and still is a curse product manager on this site, one of the staff on Curse's site told me, "We changed our minds; this doesn't apply to you. We don't support your texture pack since people could use it to cheat." A year later, just a couple of weeks ago, I guess that decision was reversed. But, anyway.
Ads - They're already nonexistent, due to adblock plus and its optional element hider add-on.
Name color - Honestly, I didn't even notice this until it was pointed out. This new shade of blue looks so similar to the previous shade of blue, (On my end at least), I may never have noticed the difference.
Giveaway entry - When's the last time I won any luck-based entries? To my knowledge, never. I have no luck, unless bad luck counts.
Premium title under username - I have no complaints about this.
Exclusive forum - Just like the name color aspect: I never knew about this until just a few minutes ago, and probably never would've known about it if it hadn't been pointed out. I also have no plans of ever using it.
The only suggestions that I don't think have been mentioned yet are,
1: The ability to withdraw your own post upvotes.
2: The ability to remove someone else's post upvote from one of your own posts.
I know it's already been mentioned, but I agree that custom titles would be nice. Oh, or maybe like on other boards: a fake cash or points system to unlock things. For example, on some boards, every post you make gives you either 5 or 10 points, depending which forum you posted in. Once you have enough points saved up, you can use them to unlock perks like giving yourself custom titles, expanding the maximum length and width of images in your signature and so on. Having Curse premium could increase the points you earn with each post, if such a system were ever implemented. That'd be a nice incentive for many people.
I am sure Curse Premium is nice and all. I would just like to stop seeing soooo many ads for it. I have no intention of ever using the curse client. I don't mind ads, they pay for sites and the free content I enjoy so much. I just have no interest in it, and wish I could see less intrusive ads for it.
I think that curse premium members should at least be able to comment on other's moderator applications, but it's fine if you don't want that.. I also think that there should be a special server just for curse premium members.... Just some ideas, i might come up with more later
What about an area to upload your own images so you don't have to use places like images shack and so on.
This way you could just have like 20 or 30 images then remove them after you close the thread and it has fallen off the forum for ever.
With the BB code so you can paste it to your post
I don't know if anyone else already posted this inside the thread, but 1+ to that. But, I'd like to personally have more than just 30 images, maybe around 50-100? As long as the images are below 1mb?
Also to everyone else in this thread, please do read the thread posts, before posting an idea as for some of things people are suggesting have already been suggested and is unfair if the orignal suggesters idea gets overlooked.
I heard about giving feedback from a certain message. Curse Premium seems really cool and very inexpensive. I think another ability for Curse Premium members should be the ability to delete their own posts. Let's say someone hacked your account and posted something totally random. With the ability to delete posts, you can make it go away instantly. Or if you're the one who posts something random, you can still delete it!
Also, the ability to change your name without emailing the mods. You should also be able to do it multiple times instead of just once.
The first section should probably be for everyone. The name-changing part is a good premium tweak though.

I have discovered a truly remarkable proof of this, which this margin is too small to contain.

You should be allowed to change your ... Tag thingy. Like tree puncher, zombie killer, obsidian miner, and Enderman Ender. Like mods can to it. PixelDrum made his ParPixel
If you have premium I think you should get minecraft for free!
Curse Premium supports the Minecraft Forum and Curse. Proceeds that Curse gets helps keep Curse and all of their websites up. None of it goes to Mojang so if you buy Curse Premium you will not get a free account.
