I am here to announce that MinecraftForum (and possibly any affiliated websites) will undergo a distributed denial of service attack sometime before 8:30PM EST. What I would like from Curse's administrative team is a 2-day "sectional moderator" tag with no features. If this thread is locked, deleted, or my account gets banned.. The length may be of a longer state and reoccurrence may occur.
DDoS it with what? Love how you spelled out the full blown form, scary.
Unless you have a decent botnet I doubt your DDoS (if it's even distributed) will do much against the server.
Do you honestly suspect this to work? Even if you did DDoS it and get it down, why would you ever receive moderating capabilities?
This looks like a massive bluff, and if not it's a bit useless to spend a botnet on DDoSing this page only to get moderating access.

Reddit takes down quite a lot of the stuff that is linked to by accident. If he actually made a good post he might manage it, considering that the forums sometimes go down with just normal traffic. Again, I doubt he's manage it.
we've been on the front page of reddit a bunch, reddit provides a lot of traffic for the average website but days when we're on the front page of reddit don't even come close to making a noticeable different in our daily traffic. front page of reddit causes a few percentage more page views at most
That's... that's really impressive, actually. I think I underestimated Curse's servers quite a lot. I'm not sure I've seen this place on the front page, it's linked in the comments quite often though.

I have just been alerted to this thread, and I have to agree with Treeco here, very well played. Now I'm very tempted to make a hollow inane threat of my own and get myself a cool tag like that. Of course with the profanity ban I don't think I could get one that fits me appropriately, I'm sure you'd probably agree. =P
