I wasn't sure if this was a scam or if it was legit, and all links in it are to clicks.skem1.com/trkr, then a large string of letters and numbers. They don't lead anywhere to a Curse link or here.
Sorry, I couldn't find a forum section for scam reports.

Not sure how that's a scam, it's more of an information email... I mean, what exactly are they scamming you of?
Scammers will often post messages or emails that appear to be from legitimate companies, such as Curse or Mojang, over topics that are relevant to many people, such as innocent Minecraft users. They post links that appear legit, and when you click, it tracks you. Sometimes, it appears like you're at a familiar forum and asks you to log back in. Then, they use your account to get info out of other users like yourself.

Well, that was just plain rude. I was doing the right thing by asking and making Minecrafters aware of a possible Curse/Minecraft issue. The last thing you need to do is ride in on a high horse just to say something back-handedly helpful.
Thank you, Squid! That was the most helpful entry in all of this. Diamonds to your straightforward answer! But if people are going to get upset over someone just trying to find answers or be helpful, I don't think I'll post up anymore concerns to Minecraft users.

Sorry to waste everyone's time.
The others were probably a bit misguided in their approach, but they were trying to help :-) If you have a problem feel free to mention it, you didn't waste anyone's time as others have been asking this too! Your topic will help many people, those that post here are a small minority.
