Hey everyone, I was thinking that whoever makes the subforums should add a Redstone help to the Xbox edition forum. This would be for different redstone Xbox tutorials and what the possibilities are with redstone in the Xbox. If you agree with me please post below and tell me how I would go about getting this to happen.
There already is a Redstone subforum, and Redstone is pretty much universal between the Xbox and PC versions... I think the only difference between them is the time it takes for a piston to extend. Also PC has Redstone Lamps... Other than that I can't think of any differences.
Oh ok but still I've heard that some things that you can do in PC is impossible in Xbox. Don't ask me what specifically, because I don't know. But this is what I've heard.

Not really... The only couple of things that come to mind are BIG TNT cannons since the Xbox can only have 20 going at a time, as well as piston elevators because the lag on the Xbox breaks those if they're high... Those aren't really Redstone mechanics though, they're more just TNT and Piston mechanics.

Oh, tripwires.
That, and you can use redstone in combination with glowstone. Redstone doesn't connect to torches that they aren't actually connected to. They have new things you can do with pressure plates, thanks to the updated hit boxes on fences. And, you can do some pretty neat redstone tricks with glass panes. I'm sure there are several things I'm forgetting, but the biggest advantage to the redstone on PC is that it's a LOT more reliable.
Btw, there are a ton of designs that will not work on Xbox. Most of these things you can modify and make them work, but some things our version just can't do.
There really isn't enough of a difference between the mechanics to constitute an entire board section just for the xbox redstone. If we had to make one for that, we might as well have another of every section for xbox.

Also, pistons are still a redstone item.
Such as? I haven't had any problems with Redstone on Xbox other than the TNT cannons and elevators...
