Hello!
As a person with limited free time I use the "ignore user" feature quite frequently to avoid dealing with users who are within the rules of this forum yet not within the limits of my tolerance [users who don't read the OP in a topic, ask a question that was already asked/answered a few posts prior, ask "does this work with [mod x]" instead of checking it out, etc]. Because of this, my "ignored users" list is rather large.
Prior to today, the feature works as one would expect - posts by users on my ignore list are not shown, with only a short message informing me that there's been a post by an ignored user and said user's name, along with a "Display this post?" link.
However, as of today it appears that this functionality has stopped working. Not only are posts by the users I added to my ignore list today showing up as normal, but a quick look around shows that posts from users that I've added previously are no longer being ignored, either.
Thanks in advance for fixing this, and if there is any additional information needed to resolve this problem just say the word and I can provide it; I gave all of the pertinent information I can think of offhand, but there's always the possibility I've missed something! :biggrin.gif:
No it does NOT work. There's an amount after that I had the same problem: I had a lot ignored but they were shown.
I contacted the staff about that a month or two ago and never got a reply.
I then wrote a greasemonkey script to bring back the X to fast ignore users and extended that to use the still existant list to still remove them. That worked up until recently.
Now it got even worse, I can't access the ignore user page at all anymore, it's just a white page. So I'll have to rewrite my script now to use it's own DB since the forum is appearantly not able to handle the amount of derps I block.
