At present, the system is being worked on, to streamline the process. We are aware of the sorting issues, and they are being looked into.
What I've been doing in the interim is use the "Watch Topic" feature, which lets me see threads I care about in one place. Also, you can change your notification settings to alert you if someone responds to/quotes a post you've made.
I understand that this is frustrating, believe me. I've got a few threads I keep my eye on as well, and look forward to a more efficient way to do so. It's certainly not a problem we're ignoring. :smile.gif:

Thank you for replying. I didn't think you guys would be ignoring the problem, but it is kind of annoying to go for so long without any updates on what's happening. Do you guys know what's preventing the feature from working properly?
Exactly what Sacheverell just did; post anything regarding the matter. When there is no response, even to just say "we're working on it", it gets rather annoying as I have no idea what is going on, and this is something that's important to me.

They do, it's just a matter of getting the software to cooperate. Software only does exactly what we tell it to, and keeps ignoring the spirit of our intent. :tongue.gif:
Updates on the matter may be sporadic. I'll try and keep folks updated as I can.

Really, the list isn't sorted yet? Why does it take so long for such a basic feature to be fixed?
Because the following has happened when we switched to IPB (A "improvement"):
We lost a fully working "View My Posts"/Egosearch.
We got a f****** annoying search delay installed.
Signature limits are insanely small.
MultiQuote is gone, only single posts are automatically quoted now.
The forums are laggy and buggy now, phpBB3 was stable (we get more errors and lag with IPB than with phpBB3).
There's no mobile version (IPB is too laggy for mobile devices, phpBB3 was useable fine without a mobile version).
We WERE PROMISED a mobile version MONTHS ago, but it never showed up.
"Fixes are coming soon" is a overused phrase now.
What's good?
We gained:
Pretty moving clouds (Trollolol)
Less spambots (THIS I am very grateful for)
"Easier Moderation" -- I have noticed less, not more moderation going on these days, some sections take many days for reports to be dealt with, maybe it's too easy and they are slacking off...
"Less Lag and Errors" -- ********
A cool editor/quick reply -- (fine, I like this more)
A new theme -- I hate it, but I can live with it
Anyways, if they fixed the problems we'd be fully happy, but the mobile theme/my content/sigs are all messed up, and we were promised quick fixes for all of those (which were never delivered).

I've found the new forums to be smoother than the old ones.
Small sigs are better.
My Content is an feature made by IPB, so complaining about it on these boards isn't going to do anything.
MultiQuote and mobile versions are features that I'm pretty sure can be enabled by the admins, though.

1. Nah, try accessing it on a older computer, or a recent mobile device (Android, iOS, etc). It's REALLY laggy.
2. Nope, they are too small right now. Before was a little too big, but now it's WAY too small. Although I removed mine for a little while.
3. There are fixes/mods for it to make it more useful (ever noticed that it doesn't sort correctly, and is often missing posts?).
4. MultiQuote I have mostly gave up on, the current system is tolerable.
5. The mobile version has been confirmed as being "In active development", but it'll be a while according to them, so refer to #1 why it's needed.

I hope so.
This is getting really stupid. Are mods just ignoring us?

What would they do?Edit: Grrr. Ninja'd.

Okay, thanks for the info. :smile.gif:
I know, right? Getting ninja'd is the worst. XD

I just went to change my sig. **** that's small. It's a good thing all I have is quotes, so they go onto separate lines automatically.
See? It's ridiculously small, and the 1 URL and 1 Image restriction is disgusting, along with the 2 lines limit...

Which one? There have been many discussed in this thread. Which one are you referring to?
2 lines is stupid, especially with the scroll bars for larger sigs. 1 URL makes sense in theory but in practice is obnoxious, and 1 image is good.
