So I like the new forum. I think it looks pretty, and it should be a lot better in the long run. However, there's jsut one problem; the "view your posts" feature seems to be completely gone. I really relied on this feature, as it helped me keep up to date with what's going on in threads I posted on without having to bookmark them or receive emails through the subscribe feature. It's really a vital feature on such a fast moving forum, and I'm extremely disappointed.
I also notice that one can no longer see how many posts a thread has on it, which means I don't even know if there's a new post on a thread until I go to the last page and check. So I'm essentially without a way of checking threads without being extremely tedious about it.
What, you mean the "posts" tab? Yeah, it's completely different. It shows all of my posts, not all of the threads I've posted in as if I had searched.
Oh my God, I just realized that the quote aka "Reply" feature doesn't quote the quotes in the post. That's stupid, I can manually remove them if I want.
On topic, I completely agree. This new format sucks. And even if it is on your profile, that three clicks instead of one takes much longer, due to the horrible loading time on this new site. The format for the "Posts" tab sucks too, due to showing the whole post. What's the point? I could go to the topic if I wanted to read my stupid post again. Which I almost never want to.

No. You're being purposely ignorant, and a smartass.

Alright, as far as I've seen, the easiest way would be to bookmark the function. And then it would be a *bit* easier to access..
Yes, but as he said, it's not the same. It shows the whole post, shows individual posts, and shows only 5 posts, oh and no page option I can see. Very limited feature, not very many uses. The old way was a quick, compact, and convenient way to find a topic you posted in, due to it NOT showing the whole post, showing individual TOPICS instead of posts, and showing ALL topics separated by huge pages that showed 50 topics I think.

You can sort of view your own posts but only on a per-forum basis.
Go to the bottom of the main page of any of the forums where all the topics are listed. Click the "Click here to show filter options" link and then select "Topics: I repied" from the Show Type: drop down on the left.

Tis far better to be a witty fool than a foolish wit.
No not "posts". You press find my content. It shows all posts you made. Whenever search is back up, it works the same as view your posts. It's in the profile page.
No, it's definitely not the same. Yes, it shows the threads I've posted in, but that's all--the old feature would act like a normal forum section, with threads with new posts coming to the top, but the threads in the new one are static, which is useless to me as I have fourteen pages of threads. I can't look through all of those to make sure I didn't miss anything!
Is it even possible to get the view your posts feature back, or do I just have to resign myself to lose most threads I post in?
It did for me at first but now it appears to have bugged up... I use search my posts instead and hope there are replies which isn't the same. If they don't already know I'll tell them about it on IRC later...
Oh, great! Thanks a ton. I just want my feature back! :tongue.gif:
No, it does NOT work. It doesn't work as it should. It only displays the topics that I have posted on before the migration from phpBB.
Actually, do a closer look. I found that it picked up on stuff I'd posted here, but the problem is that it's mixed in with everything else. If I look at the 'my content' page, in fact, it doesn't appear to be in any kind of order at all.

This forum ticked me off so much I went to random.org and set my password to something I'll never be able to remember, then switched my password reset to a throwaway.
Settings > Notification options > Watch every topic I reply to
Tick the box.
So how do I now access this? Will it automatically fix everything in "my content", or will it be in a separate section? And will it automatically have done all of my posts, not just the ones from this point?
I went to the last page of view my content rather then the first and found all my latest posts there. Seems it's in a weird order.
Well that's extremely interesting.
I'll be able to catch up on most threads now, but I still hope you guys can make new threads actually come to the top.
EDIT: Okay, I did some looking around, and it would appear that everything is in the proper order, and then everything after the new forums came is at the end while all the other stuff is still in the proper order.

It's working for you?
Won't even work for me...

Are you sure you are going to:

That's the thing I am talking about.

Not for me it isn't. This thread had new posts in "my content", but it was still third or fourth in position under threads with nothing new.

Yeah, didn't see this topic or I'd have posted here.
What is there to be worked on? The problem has been solved.
LOLWUT? No. My my content page is still not moving, with this thread maintaining its place at three topics down on my first page.
