I think this is a traffic issue (more users equals slower website) but I'll post it anyway to be sure.
I have a hard time loading the forum, it sometimes loads instantly, in a few seconds or over ten seconds. I've tested other sites while the forum was loading (e.g Youtube) and I can load an entire video faster than a thread sometimes.
I've also noticed this for a while now, especially the 1.8 discussion thread takes ages to load.
i’ll put this random stacktrace here, to have a place to check back to see if the max-height for code-tags is finally reimplemented.
just add the css rule “max-height: 30em” to the selector “pre.prettyprint” to make this bearable.

after inserting bbcode via button, not the area between the tags is selected, but instead the whole thing, including tags, which is useless.
bookmarked topics didn’t get converted into subscriptions. at least give os a dump of what we had bookmarked so we can redo this manually!
the thread titles in the “suscribed topics” list should link to the first unread post in the respective topic
greater/lower-than-characters aren’t replaced by >/< in old messages, so old messages can contain arbitray html, inlcuding <script>s! (XSS!)
The dropdown menu on my username sends me directly to My Profile after about a second. I have to choose very quickly in order to get to Messenger, My Settings, etc.
Running IE 9 in compatibility view fixes most problems, but causes the background to disappear into darkness instead of generating caves.
I've started getting this message every couple of times I try to load a page:
Warning: require_once(/home/minecraftforum/public_html/cache/skin_cache/ipsDriverError.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/minecraftforum/public_html/ips_kernel/classDb.php on line 1770 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/minecraftforum/public_html/cache/skin_cache/ipsDriverError.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/home/minecraftforum/public_html/ips_kernel/') in /home/minecraftforum/public_html/ips_kernel/classDb.php on line 1770
I'm seeing that exact same error message quite frequently, when trying load any page in the forums, when trying to go to the main forum page, when posting, and just now when trying to reply to your post, I had to hit the reply button several times in row before it would work.
And it happened again when trying to make the post. I ended up double posting, and got a database error when trying to delete the dupe.

You've got to click the "remove" button on the delete prompt instead of the "delete now" button, for some reason. I consider this an issue.
Another issue:
Sorting search results by number of replies (and presumably other things) only works properly per page. The next page will start back again at values higher than those on the first page.
Excuse me, but I still cannot access my old Minecraft account.
Problem 1: It says my username (maceintheface), password, or email is incorrect.
Problem 2: When I try the Forgotten Password option, neither of my 2 email accounts work. They aren't registered in the Curse database.
Anyone have a solution? I really don't want to make a new account... Well, I had to so that I could make this post.
I don't think that's something that can be fixed. It happens when the server is receiving too many connections.
Just refresh every few seconds until it goes through.
Yes, because that will help when the server is already receiving too many connections... ;-)
Of course this can be fixed, and it should be. It happens way too often. I've lost long posts a few times already because it happened just when I tried to submit a post. Obviously some component somewhere does not have enough capacity and should be expanded or upgraded.

Make that every 30 seconds then.
That is why I always select and copy my whole post before submitting. I've learned to expect it.

Yes, and don't you agree that it's ridiculous that you're having to do that? I do the same, if I remember, and this is the only forum where I have to do that because the next request might randomly not work...
One thing though, I think the signature restrictions should be eased a bit. You can only have 1 URL in your signature? What?
I think so too. Only 1 URL and 1 pic? We support mods by our signatures, and doesnt signatures have scroll bars when they are long? So even if they have 4 or 5 pics, their sig wont take up the whole page. Thus, I think there should be a limit like 5 urls and 5 pics or so.

A paragraph should be like a skirt: long enough to cover the content, but short enough to keep it interesting.
I don't know if this is a bug, something on my end, or a change with curse but I lost my sidebar that had the drop down menus one of which was a list of watched threads. The other stuff I didn't care about but not having that menu of watched threads is slightly...inconvenient.

Yep, having it also this morning.
Now the forum list is too wide.

I'm leaving the forum, if anyone cared. You can find me on OC or FFR.

However this slight annoyance has been increased. Not only is the text underlined now, but the text is large (like
this big) and its really annoying.
Sure the problem goes away when logged in, but I often view the website at a college I go to, and I don't know if the computers are safe.
Imagine every post being like this, it is not very enjoyable at all.
Also, it happens on multiple computers, so I assume its not my end...like this has happened on maybe 6 different computers.
This seems to have been fixed, at least for me. Is there anyone still having this issue?Edit: No, wait. That's only because I wasn't running in compatibility mode at the time.

Agh. ><
Great. Now to go open my e-mail all the time.
Are you ****ing kidding me? Really?
*facepalm*
I am not sure there is anything more that they can do to **** things up more. I bet they plan on making that a premium feature.
