I've been an active member for a few months now and really enjoy the community, however I have some concerns with timely forum maintenance and policing. I live in Canada and I find that reported posts in the "Minecraft General" section often take many hours before they're resolved by a moderator. I was wondering if this is because the "Minecraft" sectional mods seem to all be based in the U.K. or if it's because there's only three mods for the section compared to six or seven assigned to other sections.
If so, I would like to humbly suggest that the admin recruit additional mods from alternate timezones to improve around-the-clock policing. I recently retired as a mod from another popular gaming site where we had this system in place and it worked very effectively with mod members based around the globe. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this! Thanks!
Hmm, I missed it then. Sorry for the new thread. I suppose their lack of moderation is just due to their limited numbers then. I'll just let this thread die if that's the case. Thanks for the response though.
Thanks for the reply Neodymius,I'm in uni as well but I've fortunately got the brunt of my school work behind me so I've been able to stay active in that section. I do what I can to report spam, etc. but if there's anything else I can do to make your job easier, please let me know.
