When I post now it seems I'm posting hours before everyone else when I'm really not, even apparently posting before the OP in THIS topic. Dunno if it's just me but this looks rather annoying, I'd really like to fix it:
I am Hayden, but I just quickly created this new account (Against the rules? Sorry, but my other one is glitched..) to be able to post, because this glitch has happened to me. It thinks I've made a post..
A post that apparently happened at a time that hasn't occurred yet. Thus, it thinks I am spamming and says that I can not post so often.
Anyway, this post is APPARENTLY sometime during late 8 PM.. It's only 8:04 PM right now where I am. :l
Although this glitch is probably because of the downtime the forum's had and stuff, and the time was all temporarily screwed up. That's what I'm guessing, anyway.
Yeah, I noticed that too :/
It's not terribly annoying but it's a bit of a hassle.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Do not wallow do not stall
Time waits for none at all
Your allowance may crawl,
It may fly or even vanish
But none will seem more lavished
Than time lost to all.
Well it's fixed for me now, but I'm sure there are people out there who can't post until like, 10:30 PM (AEST) which is an hour and 20 minutes from now.
It only fixed for me, because my last post happened at 8:48 << Well, not really. It was at 6 or 7 something. But anyway, it THOUGHT it was at 8:48.. So, when my clock reached 8:48, it finally passed and now it doesn't think I'm spamming.
I feel sorry for those who are stuck for another hour or so though.
Also, for those who want to know when they can post again, if it says you cant, do this:
Find an already made post of yours, and click your username under your avatar.
From there, click "Search User's posts", and see what time it says your most recent post is.
Whenever your clock TRULY reaches that time, that's when you can post again.
We moved servers today and now we have a Database server and a frontend web server, unfortunately someone overlooked the need for synchronised times, so while the database server thought it was 2AM, the forum server thought it was 9AM, so that caused quite a few problems. Aera (one half of the sys admin "team") has now fixed it all by switching them to run on the same time and he has moved posts to the correct time.

Sorry for that, but it's all good now.
Oh no! Your avatar is gone. :sad.gif:
