That's strange -- I am not able to reproduce that. Is there a particular thread which I should try that with?

I'm not the thread starter, but to answer this, this behavior was already mentioned in another post (and I recommended making a feedback post for it) and it apparently happens in any thread, not one in particular.
I was wondering if it might be a browser/browser cache issue but I wasn't sure if that could cause something like this.

I can try clearing cookies (although I'm holding off on doing this until after my exam season ends in a few weeks). As is the behaviour is inconsistent and seems to happen more often with bigger threads and perhaps older threads (which makes it more annoying).
This is kind of annoying. If there's buttons saying page 1, 2...283 whatever, they should take me to that page, not all of them to page 1.
Seems localized to threads with 3+ pages, doesn't always happen when there's just 2.
