Okay, I have only three functional brain cells right now, and apparently none of them are the ones devoted to reading. It was the capitalization, not the spacing, that was the issue. It still looks to me like it's the browser/device doing it, rather than the forums.
endermite works as one word, too.
endermite <-- all lower case
Endermite <-- capitalized
ENDERMITE <-- all caps
eNdErMiTe <-- weird
That's really odd. I just tried it with different capitalization (first letter capital, no caps, all caps, shifted caps, "ender" part cap'd, "mite" part cap'd) and they all got censored. Looks like we'll have to use two words.

The word endermite and its plural endermites are not changed for me. They clearly are for some people. The only apparent difference on the forum end is that I'm a moderator. Admittedly I don't know if moderators are somehow exempt from the filtering -- I haven't tried posting profanity to be certain! I'd make an alt to test it, but the filter is much harsher on new accounts (since spambots have <10 posts) so that wouldn't be accurate either.
I'm really wondering if it's a browser issue. Y'all who are affected, what are you using, and on what?
Edited because it happened just now in this post
EDIT 2: Fixed now. Thanks Citric!

This is correct. I'm an idiot. I've removed the censor. Sorry all haha.
