I can't believe it. I just got a warning for "necroposting". First of all, that thread was only a few months inactive. Second of all, a while ago I asked the staff for details about this rule and they said that as long as I wasn't bumping it for it to be at the top of the forum, I would be fine. And I did follow those instructions, my post wasn't like "bump" or anything stupid like that; I actually provided information in my post and didn't mention anything about the bumping.
There are at least 10 other topics for the "Minecraft is dying" argument, so why you couldn't post in one of those is kind of beyond me, but whatever.
If you have an issue with a moderator, appeal the warning. Posting in this forum acting like you just had your civil rights violated really isn't the right way to do things, nor will it help your case.
There were only 2 "MC dying" threads in the Discussion section that were more recent than the one I posted in, and those threads were much smaller so I was like why not the larger one.

Anything more than a month or two (I think) is considered necroposting and or bumping.
