I, like many others, am getting used to the new site format. I've noticed the "Likes" changing. They are slowly but surely fading away. They're gone now actually. I can't find a reputation tab. And why were the Likes and Dislikes merged into one group? Now, two people can have the same rep but one guy actually received the likes and the other just gave them away randomly? Sorry... "Thanks". Were people complaining? I never read anything like that. Don't get me wrong, I like the site and am grateful for the forums. It just bothers me that the only sort of gauge for a users reputation was taken away. The number of times you've posted doesn't really say how helpful you are.
No, I found that out after the change. The extra step is a little inconvenient considering that we used to just be able to hover over someone's name anywhere and see their rep.
I agree that given and received should be separate, it's on our list! I don't remember reputation being listed when you hovered over a members name, do you have any more information on that, where did you see it? Thanks for the feedback!
Oh man, it used to be on the left side of any thread right under the user's profile picture and the number of posts. I think it was just to hover over their name? I don't remember exactly how it was done but I remember it was easy to see rep, which was just the "Likes" the person had received. I remember you could see both "Likes" given and received but that was on the profile page under reputation.

Anybody else remember? Help me out here.
I can vouch for this as the only reason I am in this board is to see where that has went .
I feel the troubleshoot given here above is anything but. The reputation tab showed what of your feedback was liked and what posts you yourself have liked. Random numbers are nothing more than random numbers. If you hover over my reputation it shows I have given 98 likes. Okay? So what? How is that valuable information to anybody? Personally, when I received a like, I liked to see where it came from and possibly visiting the thread to see why I received it. I feel it was silly to remove this tab as it can help shape some of the comments on this forum.
Ah well.. not like anything will be done about it anyways. Sorry to see it go.

I completely agree. Getting a Like was significant and I liked to see where I got it and why, just as you said. But I do remember it was fairly easy to see how many Likes that individual had received. And I miss the different rankings you would get with the number of Likes you received, not to sound conceited or anything.

I remember what you're talking about. On the old forum, if you hovered over a person's username it would show if they were online or not (and what they were doing if online), their reputation count, and their latest comment on their profile.
You can still comment on one's profile by clicking the comments tab. It no longer displays someone's own last comment on the front of the profile page.
