Here's my first role play on the Minecraft Forums, but here goes.
-----
2030
Barghsville, population 800,000. A city in Southern Texas, home to the popular medical organization,
Thunderhead, a company focused on curing Cancer. And they've been successful in most of their efforts. They've cured cancer of all natures. Brain cancer, Skin Cancer, Kidney Cancer, they've cured it all. But the chairmen believed this wasn't quick or effective enough.
So their top scientists developed a medicine that can supposedly kill the Cancer cells entirely as well as immunize the host. Xenic-G. This medicine was supposed to exterminate the cancer cells entirely within a matter of minutes, sometimes seconds. And it worked... in a sense.
Oh, it cured the Cancer all right. It killed the cancer cells rapidly, and practically vaporized them. But something went wrong. HORRIBLY wrong. The hosts became mindless monsters. All manner of mutations rapidly broke out in their body and transformed them into a monster. The scientists were less than pleased, and after a few minutes, less then human.
Three weeks have passed since that incident, and the government has shut down all means of leaving or entering the city, for the purpose of preventing infected from getting out. The citizens have dubbed the virus the XG-Virus. Now there are only a few outposts left in the city.
Duke Station, an old abandoned train station in the center of the city, and led by a woman named Brittany Gunner.
Fort Mykal, a military outpost in the southern part of the city. It's led by general Justin Hamek.
The Resistance outpost, built in the northern part of the city before the zombie apocalypse due to anticipation that it would happen. It's led by Isabel Gonzalez, the leader of the resistance.
And finally Shopping mall 4. It's a large shopping mall in East Barghsville. It's managed by Gary Butler, the manager of the mall.
Your knowledge, reflexes, strength and skill are your only hope of surviving the zombie menace.
Rules:
1: No god-modding, power-playing, meta-playing, etc.

3: You may have up to two characters.
4: You can use most any weapon imaginable. From the simple little butcher knife to a large metal rod to a flamethrower, even. Get creative.
4A: the only limit I have is no miniguns. Those are unrealistic to just haul around.
5: Have fun. I mean, why else would you join?
6: Put Red Chain into the secret word section so I know you read the rules.

Bestiary: This is the list of zombies right now. If you have any suggestions, please share your ideas.
---
Ghoul: These are your basic infected.
Muscle: These are more powerful, more brutish-looking ghouls. That's it.
Carver: A rarer, but still common strain of infection, the Harvester's right arm is replaced with a bony,
razor-sharp blade. They are also a bit faster than most zombies.
Tortoise: These zombies are significantly slower than most zombies, and deal just as much damage. The catch? It's covered in a thick layer of armor, making them able to take a rather large beating before finally falling.
Hungry: These zombies were also affected with Black-XG. But they weren't human in the first place - they were dogs. Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Retrievers, Shepherds, Terriers, Pugs, the like. They are quite fast, and able to deal significant damage, but they don't take much.
Harpy: These creatures were mutated to such an extent as to grow wings, making them fast, agile, and able to easily avoid melee weaponry. Bows or firearms are highly recommended.
Ooze: This amalgamation was created due to the virus decaying the bones at a staggering rate, and the virus also caused them to excrete an adhesive goop, similar to glue. Touching them is unrecommended.
Shade: The virus caused the skin on this zombie to decay and shrivel up to the point of being a black
raisin. They despise light of any kind, so be wary when wandering through the dark.
BOSSES: These infected are much more deadly than the other mutations, and retreat from them is usually a sound plan.
Ravenous: These monsters, like the hungries, where not originally human either. But the difference between them - Hungries were dogs. Ravenous were bears. Faster than most humans, and able to maim a survivor in
one swipe, fighting it is for the brave, prepared or downright stupid.
Harvester: This monster is similar to the Carver, and at the same time totally different. This abomination was created with not one, but 4 different blades, and an extra arm for two of them. It's capable of running slightly slower than your average motorcycle, so don't think you can outrun it.
Giant: This entity is one of the biggest zombies found in the city. It stands a staggering 20 feet tall, allowing it to attack most survivors that attack this beast from the top of buildings. It's covered in a bony armor plating that decreases damage dealt to it significantly. It is also very strong and fast, but it is also blind, so being quiet is a good way of surviving.
Horror: This variant of the virus is by far one of the deadliest. The disease caused it's back to harden into a scaled shell harder than tank armor, making it invincible from behind. What's worse, it can extend the scales into spikes, curl up into a wheel shape, and forcibly launch itself forward, causing it to barrel down the street and plow through, if not utterly destroy, everything in it's path and leave the effect area in shambles. Fighting this monster alone or in melee will make most people question what school you went to, your upbringing, what age you're from, things like that.
Fossil: No one knows how, no one knows why, but somehow the virus got into a few museum displays, along with some still buried ones too - dinosaur fossils. You heard me, I said DINOSAUR FOSSILS. It is scientifically impossible, and it has been studied - there should be no reason they came to life. However, the virus somehow brought these ancient beasts to life and they have been sighted, albeit on phenomenally rare occasions. It's unlikely that you will find one, but if you do, you're going to need to write your will, and fast.
That's all the zombies for now, but if you have suggestions, they are always welcome.
Current Characters:
Name: Thaddeus Goger (Goh-jer)
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Personality: He's generally a nice guy, but he also tends to be angered easily.
Appearance: He's a staggering 6-foot-9. He's has white skin, and he tends to wear black shades. He has a scar on his left hand and bandages on his left arm.
Bio: I used to be in the military a few years back, but I had to take leave due to cancer. It was painful, every day I felt myself weakening, fading, dying. But then I heard about Thunderhead, a cancer-curing organization. at first I was a bit skeptical, but I heard from other people about how effective it was, and I figured it was my only chance. It worked like a miracle. My cancer was totally cured.
But now there's this virus. It took my family away from me. My wife... my mother... my son... everything. And my rage was worsened when I heard the source of the virus was Thunderhead. These zombies are going to die, whether I do it or not. They will pay.
Primary Weapon: an M-16 assault rifle.
Secondary Weapon: A Halberd.
Starting outpost: Fort Mykal
Secret Word: not going to say it.
Played by: Count_Caleb
