What do you get when you cross a Choose Your Own Adventure book, an MS Paint adventure thread, and crappy art? This. Basically, it's an illustrated choose your own adventure book with some (but not as much as an MS paint adventure) user input.
RULES:
Pictures will be referred to as screens.
Regarding choosing the next path, simply post which way you want to go in. Majority rules.
If you die, you return to the starting screen (the one in the OP) unless otherwise stated.
Usually, a screen will stay the same. However, they are subject to some variation (mostly after a death, sometimes not), especially if the posters continuously choose the same route. If an evil wizard in a tower kills you, expect the route to his tower to change or for the traps to be different.
If you see something out of place and there isn't an option to do something with it, you may try to interact with it (e.g. a hidden enemy with no option to attack it). If you notice this, you may vote to interact with the object rather than choose one of the listed options. If you are correct, your vote will override everyone else's votes.
This is set in the medieval times.
Combat is the similar to the Lone Wolf series of gamebooks; the system is explained in the spoiler below.
A random number ranging from 0 to 10 is determined, and 10 is added to it. This is your attack.
Another random number ranging from 0 to 10 is determined, and 20 is added to it. This is your health.
A battle goes as follows (this is all done by me).
1) The attack of the enemy is subtracted from the attack of your own. This is the combat ratio (which isn't actually a ratio).
2) A random number from 0 to 9 is chosen.
3) Damage is dealt to both parties based on the results from the Combat Results Table (directly from the first book in the Lone Wolf series).
4a) If the character's health dips below 7 health (a different number will be accepted if requested before the combat) the character will be given the option to run if it is allowed in the situation. You will be told beforehand if you cannot run from the fight.
4b) Otherwise, the fight continues until someone dies.
And that's it. (For now, anyway; these rules are subject to change.)

You are standing on a road. The road stretches in two directions; one end bends north over the hills, and the other travels to the western plains. There is a forest on the hills to the north, west of the road.
Would you like to:
1) Travel north on to the hills on the road,
2) Travel west to the plains on the road, or
3) Travel to the forest outside the road.
Forever both a Chrono Trigger fan and a brony.
My avatar is an alien parasitic killing machine that has used all the DNA on the planet to make itself into the ultimate being.
You walk north in to the forest, and the trees slowly grow thicker. You are at the top of a hill now, and you can see a glade in the forest with a small brick building from here. Someone must be inside, as smoke is rising from the chimney.
Would you like to:
1) Turn back south to the road from where you came.
2) Go east, where you believe the road should be.
3) Go west, deeper in to the forest.
4) Go north and investigate the brick building.
5) Go north and bypass the brick building and head deeper in to the forest.
Forever both a Chrono Trigger fan and a brony.
My avatar is an alien parasitic killing machine that has used all the DNA on the planet to make itself into the ultimate being.
As you start to reach the brick building, night begins to fall. It is sunset when you reach the building.
Upon reaching the building, you are greeted by a man armed with a crossbow. He explains to you that this building is a lodge for some of the King's lords that like to hunt in this forest. Since it is out of season, he is the caretaker of the lodge in the meantime. Taking note of the oncoming night, he offers to let you stay in the building for the night.
Would you like to:
1) Accept his offer or
2) Decline his offer.
3) Attack him.
Forever both a Chrono Trigger fan and a brony.

Take his crossbow and shoot those weird yellow dots.
If that does nothing then accept the offer
I forgot to add the option of attacking him (or stealing from him or whatnot) but I doubt it would be so easy to take a crossbow from him. Would you rather warn him of the yellow dots?
(Won't update until tomorrow, btw.)

Did something happen to you in your childhood to give you this unreasonable fear of rutabaga?
Forever both a Chrono Trigger fan and a brony.
My avatar is an alien parasitic killing machine that has used all the DNA on the planet to make itself into the ultimate being.
You consider grabbing his crossbow and shooting at the glowing eyes, but you realize that you don't know how to shoot a crossbow. You warn him of the eyes instead.
"What? Glowing eyes? Let me see..."
The man loads his crossbow and investigates the area where you saw the eyes. Soon, he fires the crossbow and a loud yelp sounds from the bushes. "Just a wolf," he says, "but there's bound to be more around. Let's get inside.
He leads you inside and locks the door. He cooks a meal for the both of you which tastes fine, and he shows you a bed where you can sleep for the night.
Would you like to:
1) Go to sleep.
2) Stay awake, but remain inside.
3) Ask to guard the place from wolves.
4) Thank him for his hospitality and leave.

You go to sleep. When you awaken, you find a note with a dagger stuck in it.
You take the dagger. You are standing in the man's cabin.
Would you like to:
1) Go north, deeper in to the forest.
2) Go south, to the top of the hill.
3) Go west, deeper in to the forest.
4) Go east, where you believe the road is.
5) Rob the cabin.

You strike at one man's head with your dagger; it sinks deep in to his skull and pierces the brain. He is dead.
The other man, enraged, draws his sword and brandishes fiercely. "You killed him! You're next, you *******!" He shouts, as he begins to strike.
Armed Man: 21 Attack (15+6)/32 Health (28+4)
You: 20 Attack (16+4)/27 Health
Would you like to:
1) Attack immediately with your dagger.
2) Pause for one round to grab his friend's sword, and use that in the place of your dagger.
3) Run as soon as possible, though it will take two rounds of combat in which you cannot fight back.
