Everyone complains that: Mountains are spiky and super crazy, rest of terrain is flat.
Do you guys think it's meant to be like this as a generic canvas for the world type option?
Some suggest that we should be able to have options for likelihood of elevation change and certain features but maybe they are ready to do that already. Do you guys think this might be the case??
I wouldn't say so, but I don't know what they're thinking. I think they made the terrain the way it is to prevent NPC villages from glitching and looking funny (which they still do in some cases, but that's ok). That's why they don't appear in mountain biomes.
