Recently I made a new 1.17 survival world and I wanted to get slime for leads. I went to a swamp and discovered dead bushes spawning there. Is this a new feature or a glitch? I have an image attached below of it.
Dead bushes have always generated (or attempted to generate) in swamps but they used to be able to only generate on sand, then in 1.7 they could also be placed on hardened clay and dirt, and the Wiki says that they can be placed on grass as of 1.17, so they are now much more common in swamps (previously they would only generate on sand near water, but they removed sand from swamps in 1.7 so until 1.17 they basically did not generate in swamps).

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
