I remember a while back I was surfing the site, and I saw a link somehwere that said that apparently "I had bought the game when free copies were given out, so now I get a code that I can share with anyone"
Thing is, I can't find the code anymore
Can anyone help me?
I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to ask but I am really inexperienced with forums...
If that text was on the Minecraft site (minecraft.com) it refers to you having bought the Java version at a time when the Windows-10 edition was bundled with it.
If you log on to your Minecraft account it should have a download link.
Though the bit about sharing the code doesn't sound right.

But if you bought the Java version before last october (or whenever it was) you should have a code on your Minecraft account page at: https://account.mojang.com/me
The text I get there is:
"Minecraft for Windows 10
You bought Minecraft: Java Edition during a period of time when Minecraft for Windows 10 was included for free. If you haven’t already redeemed your gift code, get your copy by clicking on the “Redeem” button below and follow the instructions. As you might have guessed, Minecraft for Windows 10 can only be played on Windows 10."
They do call it a gift code though I think the idea is that you should use it yourself if you want to try out the Bedrock version of Minecraft or play with friends who play it..
