I hope you notice that the leaves in 1.4.6 are a lot more aerial/airy, the other way round 1.7.10 leaves are more dense, especially the distant ones. I liked the 1.4.6 leaves much much more and I am asking how to bring them back ? Has somebody noticed this too ?
Blocks further away are by default rendered with "mipmap" smoothing. Thats why they look more dense. This applies to all blocks but is better noticable on semi transparent leave blocks. Just turn mipmap rendering off if you dont like it.
