hey guys havin issues, found a village as soon as i started my new world never found one before, but there were villagers and then they disappeared and i would like to know if there is a way i can get them back, tried a couple commands to spawn villagers but it says it cant spawn out of this world
If you've got cheats, just switch to creative and grab a spawn egg.
Villages are a bit poorly designed. Some buildings aren't lit up enough, and allow mobs to spawn inside, where villagers might be hiding, not safe. And since zombies can kinda reach through doors to hit, it's possible for a hiding villager to still get killed and/or turn and start attacking all the others that all hide in the same building.
Lesson to learn, if you're going to do anything with villagers, seal them up to make sure they're safe. They can't be trusted with their own safety.

If you're in Survival I'd suggest taking the legit approach to it. You can purify Zombie Villagers back into normal villagers by throwing a Splash Potion of Weakness on them and feeding them a Golden Apple.
thanks for all the input guys, i tried starting a LAN and cheating them back in but its not letting me get a spawn egg or spawn the villagers so im just not gonna worry about it haha
Villagers are stupid. So stupid, they make cobblestone look smart. They seem to have no problem with running right up to zombies that are trying to eat them. The expected results happen.
When you find a village: You should have a bed with you when you're exploring anyway; put it down in a suitable house and sleep at night so the zombies don't come out when you're in that chunk. This will give you some working time. Make sure the interiors of all of the houses are well lit up. Then surround the whole village with fences, and make sure all the area inside the fences is well lit up. Once you trap the villagers in houses, seal up the doors with blocks of dirt (2 high, not just 1 high) to give yourself time to really zombie-proof the place. Then you can get fancy with walls around the village, extra doors to increase the population, etc.
Important things to remember: Villagers can't open fence gates. Villagers do open wooden doors, all the time, even at bad times. (and slam them ... lots) Injured zombies will spawn more zombies -- I had a problem when I covered a village with glass: zombies were falling off a cliff onto the glass, then spawning more zombies in the nearest viable spot, namely down in the village, where they proceeded to eat my villagers. Villagers need at least 4 doors per villager; therefore, you have to add a lot of doors to get them to breed. (there's no reason you can't build a whole house out of doors, of course)
To move villagers to the part of the village you want (for instance, to trap them in houses that you can seal up), build one-way fence barriers:
. |x .
<-- villagers will climb up on the block, over the fence, and be trapped on this side
| = fence
x = dirt block
(also, when you start a LAN world, make sure you have cheats enabled, and do "/gamemode 1" to get into creative)
