Ok I got about the lava. But my big doubt. I already tried to change the key bind for the USE button, but still can't use it. I try to use the bucket on lava (moving one).. nothing happens :sad.gif: Is my savegame bugged or something?
Lol your bucket only can "collect" still lava blocks which are the sources to the moving lava. Obsidian is only created when you combine STILL water and STILL lava together.

Moving lava will generate cobblestone.
Still lava (Not flowing in any direction) is a source block and will create Obsidian.
Placing a bucket of water on a solid block next to still lava will create obsidian. The fastest way is still the obsidian maker (Someone posted a video above.) It uses a simple machine with a piston, some redstone and water.

Life is not measured in the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
The video above was (I'm pretty sure) for the one where pouring lava over redstone that is immediately near water creates obsidian.
But anyways. These are the rules in terms of water/lava:
Water stream -> lava stream == cobblestone
Water source on lava source == obsidian
reverse of above == stone
please help me. I can't create obsidian. When lava gets into water it is creating stone, not obsidian. Does anyone knows what is happening?
I have a second problem too. Can't use my bucket, I did it.. when I press the second mouse button on top of water nothing happens :sad.gif:

And the lava NEEDS to be STILL not flowing. Just thought i might clear that up.

Yep. But if it's not a source block, it becomes cobblestone.
Which ban be useful for making massive cobblestone walls.
