Since there isn't a sub-forum for Minecraft-related programs that don't edit maps, I'll post this here.
If it is needed elsewhere a mod can move it.
Minecraft Music Tuner V1.0
Program Description: It's pretty much a program, that emulates the tones of the Music Box Block. That way you can listen to the tone, know how many clicks to get that tone, and can know exactly what that tone sounds like with the other instruments.
It's a very simple program, and all is around 5MB so it's not godly huge.
Just extract from the .rar the "Minecraft Music Tuner V1.0" folder to wherever you want, and then run the
"Minecraft Music Tuner V1.0.exe" to run the program.
Note, Don't move it, because the Sounds folder has to be along with the .exe. otherwise it won't work. Just run it as it looks in the "Minecraft Music Tuner V1.0" folder.
Also this was programmed in VB.NET with the 3.5 .Net Framework.
I'm most likely to work on a V2.0 as well, which might have it where you can plan out full songs and make scoresheets before putting them into minecraft ^.^
You can get a MIDI notation program that converts MIDI files into sheet music. This is possible because MIDI files aren't actually music files; rather, they are files that contain a digital version of sheet music.
