Yes/No doesn't really work for this kind of poll, seeing as it asks a question.
I leave it on since it is also my DVR and there is no reason to turn it off.
There are no risks, computer components are designed to be left on. The thing that kills most computers is starting up/shutting down and the surge of power that goes through the system when doing so.
Of course, this is hardly anything to actually worry about, it's just an interesting factoid. Don't leave it on just because of that reason.
If I put it on Sleep Mode, would that keep all the Hardware running or just the battery and Hard Drive? Because I don't really want to turn it off (because I can't be bothered to wait 20 seconds for it to load) yet I keep on worrying for some reason that leaving it on Sleep Mode will for some reason wear away all of my Hardware.
Sleep mode is just a low power state so nothing is "running", sort of.
However that represents the same problems as shutting down, as it's not uncommon for a computer to go to sleep and not wake up.
Sleep won't wear at hardware, but again, this isn't bare reasoning as to why you should leave it on or not.
I leave my laptop in sleep mode. However, sometimes I find it in the morning and it has turned itself off (completely off, requiring full reboot). There is no danger to any specific choice. You are much more likely to run into problems that happen due to completely unrelated things.

I always wanted to argue with a brick wall, I suppose the internet is the second best option.
Ever since I put my OS on an SSD, I've been content with turning my main box off at night. I can deal with taking 20-some seconds to boot up. My electricity bill enjoys it, and my operating system is always happiest just after a boot.
I always turn it off at night as the LED's and monitor indicator LED's bother me while trying to sleep. My SSD allows me to boot up in 5-10 seconds so I'm not really bothered by that.
On pretty much 24/7, but my computer is a server for a few things, and crunches for BOINC.
If my computer wasn't in use for a few hours or more, then I would put it to sleep or hibernate to waste less power (and therefore money) and build up less dust. If it wasn't in use for a day or more, then I'd shut it down and possible unplug it.
I turn my computer off usually only when there are things that need to be updated. I have plenty of ram, so it usually doesn't get too slow, plus I leave way too much open and it's a pain to open it all again. I have 22 windows open right now, and about 700 browser tabs. I also run servers, torrent, download large files, FTP files to remote servers, run scans, etc. at night.
The only drawback is power consumption, but it really doesn't use that much power while idle, and there are so many other things that use immense amounts of power.
i WOULD keep it on, mainly for torrents but my computer is in my bedroom, its not too loud but its got way too many fkn leds, they get in my eyes and whatnot.

700 browser tabs

The Commies count their quarters and the ArtSci wish they could, the Engs have the longest pole and slam it home for good, so big, so hard, so tall, it reaches all the way to heaven, so shut your hole, we climbed the pole, we're sci 1 ing 7!!!
I turn it off, because A: I don't want to ramp up my elec. bill or waste energy
and B: Because I'm an insomniac, and I have a disorder where I have a fear that will happen to me if I fall asleep, so it's hard as it is and I don't need LEDs and fans on at night.

The MTBF on most of them is in the hundreds of thousands of hours.
When I'm not uploading, it's sleep mode.
Hibernating is basically sleep, except it writes memory to disk so even if power is lost during hibernation, you can still resume.

Why would you ever need 700 browser tabs open? It would drive me nuts trying to organize them and remember what they all were.
The most I've ever needed to have open (to view different pages on a website simultaneously) was about 50.
