Would dual 560 Ti's in SLI run minecraft very good, along with an intel i7 2600k? If so how many FPS? Im only thirteen and I can only have a computer if it is under 3000$. It also will have 16 gigabytes of ram, and liquid cooling. I just ordered the computer from tiger direct fot 2313$. It is the SYX Raven Custom.
well, I't doesn't matter what kind of video card you have because Minecraft doesn't have amazing graphics.
All you need is a good CPU and you'll be fine.
AND.. 3000$ is waay too much if your building a computer
with 3,000$ you probably could go with MUCH better gpu set up than that, try 2 580's set up in sli if you want to overkill it since you've got money out the wazzoo.

So an Intel i7 2600K should be good right, and thanks for the help! :biggrin.gif:

No I do not this computer is for my whole family, I am just the only one that is technalogicly literate. Two 580's where to expensive, but thanks you for the suggestion.
Hell, I have one of them and reached that figure with a 128x texture pack.
If you've got that high of a budget, you could get a touch screen monitor. I'm sure the less computer savvy members of your family would find that useful.
You could also see about buying another hard drive (same model) and a RAID card (unless the motherboard already has a built in RAID chip) and set up the two drive in a RAID 0 configuration to speed up read/write times.

I just heard that Minecraft doesn't support SLI or Crossfire. However I don't really think Like that. 100-200 fps is just in really laggy situations. Others you will get 300 fps+ even with x256 Texture packs.

What CPU do you have?
Isn't that a little harsh don't you think?
Now, i have a single AMD radeon 6700 and it runs minecraft perfectly. Although all you really need for minecraft is CPU and RAM.
You'll be fine.
Intel core i7 870
It will run great at 100-200 fps. Considering Minecraft don't have that epic graphics like BF3 or something like that.
$3000 (your budget) is insane. You might be able to get one of the best gaming system.
And just for your information, there is no i7 2500k. There is only i5 2500k or i7 2600k.
Do you get the parts? I might suggest you some if you don't.

Is 16 gigabytes enough,if not I can go up to 32.
16 gigs is plenty, I have 8 :sad.gif:
It's alright I sorta went a little overkill on the ram, dont you think? :wink.gif:
It will!?!
Also the i7 wasn't the best idea if you're only gaming.
