I was messing around with python the other day, and found a function called sockets which lets me connect to specific addresses such as IP addresses and domain names. I tried to connect to a MC server I own, and it tries to connect, and on the server side it sees the incoming traffic, but cannot connect, and on the python side it tries and fails to connect. Any idea on how to get through this and join a MC server with python?

You would have to write your own wrappers for all of the packets being sent/received by the server so it can handle the python socket.
