I need help writing a command code in 1.13. I want to summon lightning to hit specific entities within a set block range. So far my attempts haven't been correct.
/execute as @e[distance=..5] at @s run summon minecraft:lightning_bolt ~ ~ ~
Hope this helps
PS: I don't know about 1.13 command syntax, so if it doesn't work let me know.
I'm a programmer. I use C/C++, BASIC, Assembly, and Python. If i sound too technicial, that's because it's the way i think.
Here ya go
/execute as @p if entity @e[type=entity,distance=..radius] run execute at @e[type=entity] run summon minecraft:lightning_bolt ~ ~ ~
If you are running it from a command block you should run it relative to a player unless you want it relative to a command block
