Try doing /testforblock in the execute command instead of the detect. You will have to have a comparator output on the /execute command block that then completes the action, but the /testforblock allows you to add data tags unlike the detect function of the execute command. I hope this helped!
I have tried this command but it will just not work
/execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:dropper 2 {Items:[{Slot:4b,id:minecraft:log,Count:1b,Damage:0s}]} /say Test
Please help
Thanks
