As you can see, my name is Khranos. Some people may recognize my name, though I'm guessing to the majority I'm just as unknown as the next poster. I'm a bit of a poet, and have been writing poetry for 2-3 years, and have 20+ successful works. I am also a bit of an author, composer, and artist, though poetry is my strongest skill.
I was recently looking through a pile of my old papers, and came across a couple of old poems I haven't yet uploaded to this site, and I figured that the few who know me, or just enjoy poetry, may enjoy these works. I did have a wonderful NEW poem to post, yet I haven't a clue where it's gone to. Oh well, that'll be for another time. If you enjoy the poetry here, I'd much appreciate it if you took a look at my main thread, with a link located at the bottom of the thread. For now, I hope that you enjoy what I have to show!
The Poetry
(The following poem was mainly created for fun out of a dare by another writer. The dare was to create a poem out of a mundane object)
- The Window -
What is a window?
A vision of truth?
Or is it just there,
For you to see through?
The thick blaring glare,
Its demonic evil stare?
Or just a ray of light,
Taking its daily warming fare?
There are many ideas,
Who is to know if they're true?
The man-made glass window...
What's up with you?
(As you'll be able to tell, I wasn't in the best of moods whilst writing this poem. It gets a bit sketchy towards the middle, but I figured it had enough worthwhile stanzas to post)
- Night -
As the sun began to fall,
And the light began to dim,
Would the luminescence ever come back up,
Or is that only an untrue whim?
Shall my happiness be forever gone,
With the light in my world no longer?
Or is it a temporary bask in the waters of sadness,
Only to dry off as if never been harmed?
Blind to the world; cannot see.
Is it only darkness, or fate?
For to take this life, would not be,
A feat or accomplishment in the slightest.
Waiting out time, salt in the wounds,
Cut by the knife of unsurety and wonder.
The blades worn dull from the many years of use,
Though it cuts just as deep, each and every time.
And as the sun starts to slowly rise,
It's a relief for this moment and no more.
As I crave the incoming light, I once again start to worry;
And am afraid it'll come no longer.
(This is just a sneak peek of one of my current works, which is based around a drawing I have also created and will post with the poem once I finish writing it. I hope you enjoy what I have so far!)
- Title To Be Determined (No, that's not the title) -
There lies a door,
At the end of the room,
Where the light begins to shy.
Adorned with scythes,
Unforgiving eyes,
A lock only opened with time...
The Song - Tranquility (Demo) -
It's only a 34 second song, but it's one of the first things I have come to create within the musical medium. I have a few more songs in the making, though this is the only one which I have made that has a remote sense of ending. I hope that "Soundcloud.com" will work for anybody who wants to give it a listen, for I don't want to even deal with Youtube.
I know this was a decently long thread, but I greatly thank anybody who took the time to take a look/listen! I hope you have enjoyed what I have put in this thread, and would suggest taking a look at my complete works located here (http://www.minecraft...hranoss-poetry/). Yet again, thank you all very much for your time!

"We're kept alive, by artificial means. But have lost our souls, to a world of machines." Unnatural Selection, Ayreon.
No replies, eh? I'd appreciate most everything, whether it be an opinion, criticism, or even just a bump of some kind. I spent a good deal of time working on the content within this thread, and formatting it as well. I'd really like to know that at least one person enjoyed something here, for that's enough to make it worthwhile. Thank you!
