I'm just wondering, followed the flower tutorial and it works perfectly, but the flowers always spawn in a "hole"... is there anything that needs to be changed in the GenMinable other then stone to grass? I think thats the reason.
Amazing tutorials, you deserve a .
I love your tuts! Best ever. However I have a slight problem. My dimension works perfectly normal and everything. However, if you save and exit the game while in the dimension and attempt to play on that world again, the game crashes. Any idea what this could be caused by? Here's my error report:

helm me soon, thanks!
That is such a coincidence. You and I are in the exact same situation It's like destiny...... lol
It depends if we have exactly the same problem. For you does this only happen if you exit the world while still in your dimension or anytime you exit the world? (I saw you have Dimension API in the error report so I am assuming you made a dimension).
EDIT: I have determined the problem to be caused from this line:
worldProvider.registerWorld(this);
However I do not know what this means specifically. When I hover over it it says it is to "associate a world with a world provider" so perhaps it is not finding the custom world provider to use when starting the game but idk. Thoughts, TheInstitution?
I also feel like other people have asked this question, and the institutions' did not reply.
Yea I get the feeling TheInstitutions isn't gonna answer (We really need your help dude! Preferably today since I need this thing done by tomorrow).
public void onBlockPlacedBy(World world, int i, int j, int k, EntityLiving entityliving)
{
EntityMyCustomMob myMob = new EntityMyCustomMob (world);
myMob.setLocationAndAngles((double)i + 1.5D, j, (double)k + 0.5D, 0.0F, 0.0F);
world.spawnEntityInWorld(myMob);
myMob.spawnExplosionParticle();
}
Thank you so much for posting this. I know this was in reply to someone else, but I have been trying to figure out how to spawn a mob, and I havent found any tutorials for it. This helped me so much.

Watch my block tutorial. That is the most basic thing to start with. If you dont know how to decompile MCP, watch a HDAVIIRUS tutorial on how to do that. After you learned that, Block tutorial and then roam free and a field of tutorials. Have fun
Whenever I test my mod outside of eclipse, none of the mobs that use my custom model have their skin. It appears fine in eclipse, and all the mobs that use ModelBiped have their skin. So do all of the items I added. Only those using the Custom Model and Custom render have problems. Any ideas?

DUDE I FIGURED IT OUT! TheInstitution did not go over this in his tutorial either so that is why it is coming up! In your mod_*** file in You have to put this line: so in the end it would look like this:
Replace *** with the appropriate names, of course.
Thanks so much for the tuts TheInstitution!

Weird, the item textures for my mod and some other mobs textures register though. So do the block textures
