I know the IC mod comes with a teleporter, but the requirements just seem a bit to high to make it valid early on. The TF2 teleporter has the advantage of it still fits in the the theme of the other mods, the production cost is low enough to make it viable early on (but not to early. It works ( ).
Plus I like the idea of a central teleporter room.
It does seem that it doesn't just slot right in, so I am guessing there is a id conflict somewhere, however for some reason I cant get any of the id resolvers to work atm either, so can't check lol.

I've used that before -- its a good mod, but doesn't have a 'take me home' option like I can setup with portal gun. Though I could just get Crystal Wing, so maybe.

Could you not just set up a portal back at home base with freq 99 or something and then reserve that for a 'take me home' portal. Then just carry a portal bag around, ahhh yeah ok lol. must think things through.
Then again, once you have quantum leggings, travel times aint that bad :biggrin.gif: .
Not seen crystal wing, think ill go take a look at it now.
Ok got it working now! just need to install the .jar mods in the right order.
I am have ALOT of problems with portalgun now, and advanced machines dont make sounds.
And i want to show you this Awesome EE factory i have witch fills up an entire room But it looks so awesome the way i've Litterly overdosed with RP2 microblocks (all marble bricks)
I'm probaly gonna post a vid here once i've automated it
and another thing is that ive found out bildcraft pumps only go down about 64 blocks,so when your pump is done youd wanna jump down there and see if you need to lower it.
One more bug - refinerys will continue to pull out fuel even though theres no room in the pipe thus wasteing fuel.
Porthole Gun crashes the game now. Redpower 2 will crash the game now also, unless the config file is changed.
( ID conflicts ) Too Many Items can cause inventory graphical lighting issues when activate

Hmm i've had portal gun decide to not work in game, but its never caused my game to crash. The same with red power 2, no conflicts this end. (UPDATE:- Realised that I didn't have Railcraft installed, downloaded and installed 2.2.0 and got the conflict error. Easy to resolve though, just deleted the redpower config file, so redpower could reassign the block ids and everything back to normal.) (I havent checked in the last couple of days so maybe theres a new version that adds new ids?)
I have all of those mods installed (excluding railcraft, recipe book, minecart compatibility layer, convenient inventory, and TMI) with optifine, codechickenloader, codechickencore, rei's minimap, computercraft, and powercrystal's power converters. They work fine except that after a few minutes minecraft black screens and closes, unless I use a minecraft error test .bat file. If I use the minecraft error test .bat file then an error message is created in a seemingly random folder on my computer. One thing I noticed about the location was that it was always one folder up from the folder my .minecraft backup was in. Here is the error message:

I found a fairly major bug with Logistics Pipes .... (( There is no were to report bugs ))
If you have crafting tables spitting out "logs to wood planks" for each log type, the behavior is erratic.
Some times all the log types process into wood at once. Sometimes you get "missing wood" error when there are actually logs in the system. Other times it says it's successful, and spits nothing out.
How to test: line up 3 automatic crafting tables, put one log type in each one, and have it spit out wood planks.
Connect them together with crafting pipes. Adjust each crafting pipe.
Attach your system , with a provider pipe, a chest were you will place the input logs.
Grab an auto order device, and attach a receiver pipe.
Play around with different amounts of logs and log types in the chest.

It seems to me that Logistics pipes can't yet resolve multiple crafting pipes/recipes yielding the same type of output. Your problem is a good example for this. You could streamline your operation by using a Philosopher's Stone to change the other wood types into one particular wood type before they are planked. I think it's Oak->Pine->Birch->Oak. Though trickier to think of, Logistics Pipes will understand it better.
I don't think that it is a bug insomuch as a weakness to the system. Krapht will probably figure out how to program this in the future, but for now, it's just something you'll have to work around.
Here is another issue: Pickaxes can not be used in automatic crafting tables ... they are instantly spit out of the logistic pipe.
I think you'll have to use a satellite pipe to send the pickaxe to a chest adjacent to the crafting table is all. Logistics pipes or no, the rule of thumb is if it doesn't stack, it must be put in a chest, not sent directly to the table.

If it's important I have forestry 1.2.6.3
Well I think that error message is far more gobbledygook than most people will be able to understand. Unless one of those people do come by, try to get the error that minecraft gives, not the one Java gives. iChun posted this program on his portal gun thread to help get the error messages. It will print debug messages from Minecraft in a command prompt so you can copy them. Post that and we'll see where we can go from there.

Are you kidding me? I just in finished installing all the mods and then i scroll down and see this, It took me an hour and a half to download and install them all :/

I have everything in a separate file . All I have to do is drag and drop. So it is theoretically possible to install in 3 minutes.
To all having trouble with id's just go into config file modloader.cfg and disable the mod giving you trouble. You can see which mod is giving you trouble in the modloader.txt in the .minecraft folder. After disabling that mod go into minecraft with tmi, nei installed create a new world and just search rapidly for codes I found a gap of three between two mods I believe 213, 214, 215 all work :biggrin.gif: which by the way that information will be useful if you install bc-ic2 crossover.

I think you'll have to use a satellite pipe to send the pickaxe to a chest adjacent to the crafting table is all. Logistics pipes or no, the rule of thumb is if it doesn't stack, it must be put in a chest, not sent directly to the table.

Yeah it is... Anyone have a story here?
