Would it be a good idea to remove redpower from the mods folder, run minecraft so it creates the config file (hopefully) then readd redpower and change the config?? or would that not work?
Run minecraft once to generate config files. It will crash from the id conflict but will still generate the config files
In your server play you said you were running Faithful 32 texture pack. Are you still planning on running it, and if so what are you using for hd texture support. Where would you add that in as part of your build?
1) Make sure you have a FRESH minecraft folder. Not just a fresh jar. If there are old redpower/buildcraft config files in there, they won't auto-assign ID's when it runs.
2) Make sure to follow my steps exactly, running minecraft when I do.
3) I'm not using Optifine or HD texture packs at all.
Most people seem to have success if they follow my steps exactly.

These are EXACTLY the same mods i have installed on my minecraft and my server my friends and I play on. I use optifine tho so i had to mess around in photoshop with the textures to get the logistics pipes to work.

Ive run thru this install omitting a couple mods such as rail craft and wireless redstone but I'm using mo'creatures as well and Ive run into a weird error. I'm unable to craft an MFE using the recipe listed in craft guide and also the dark matter furnace from EE is not working, its not crashing but it just plain refuses to operate. The only big I've encountered thus far is that bc fillers and quarries don't like grass blocks. SpaceToad is already aware though. I haven't exhaustively tested every items functionality though.
I've got this working with Optifine finally. You need a transparency editable program, GIMP/Photoshop to do it. It also REQUIRES AdditionalPipes. I doubt I can post the hacked texture file though without permission from both authors, so your on your own with that.
There are a few bugs with forge 1.2.2 and optifine with chunk glitches. A simple relog fixes though.
I'm having issues with Wireless Redstone. I've install almost all of the other mods you have listed (no EqExh or Forestry) and it's all working great. But once I add in Wireless Redstone, MC crashes.
I then started over, fresh copy of MC, only installed Modloader, ModloaderMP, Wireless Redstone and Wireless Remote and nothing else....I did this using both the Wireless Redstone installer and by doing it manually.
Both ways, MC crashes.

i have no problem with installing the mods as my modloader.txt shows everything running perfectly, my problem shows up when the game is loaded. From what I've gathered it seems to be a problem with redering blocks. I found the error message in the console:

Run minecraft once to generate config files. It will crash from the id conflict but will still generate the config files
In your server play you said you were running Faithful 32 texture pack. Are you still planning on running it, and if so what are you using for hd texture support. Where would you add that in as part of your build?

Curse Premium1) Make sure you have a FRESH minecraft folder. Not just a fresh jar. If there are old redpower/buildcraft config files in there, they won't auto-assign ID's when it runs.
2) Make sure to follow my steps exactly, running minecraft when I do.
3) I'm not using Optifine or HD texture packs at all.
Most people seem to have success if they follow my steps exactly.

Curse PremiumThere are a few bugs with forge 1.2.2 and optifine with chunk glitches. A simple relog fixes though.
I then started over, fresh copy of MC, only installed Modloader, ModloaderMP, Wireless Redstone and Wireless Remote and nothing else....I did this using both the Wireless Redstone installer and by doing it manually.
Both ways, MC crashes.
