Well I'm here for you! I will soon be creating a website so don't be afraid to follow this thread through the whole process! My website will include tutorials on:
REDSTONE CREATIONS; i.e - Rectractable Doors.
CREATING CUSTOM SKINS; i.e - Link Skin, (Links to programs)
MAP CREATION; i.e - Super Hostile Map Series.
And much much more!
These services are completely free of charge! If you need help with anything even before the website, feel free to message me here on the Minecraft Forums, on youtube; http://www.youtube.com/user/COD4TuToRiAl, or just go ahead and post a reply down below and I'll be glad to help! I'll be updating this post every few days with recent tutorials and the website updates.
I'm currently trying to make a mod in which you can put water/lava inside of a glass block. I've got the new block and I've made it render a cube within the cube and it looks fine, but can you tell me how to make it render the water/lava texture in the sub-cube. I'd post an image but I'm a total noob to forums and I have no clue how. Thanks

You'd have to show me the picture so try doing this, take if it's ingame and if it's not, get it to where you right click it get the option "Copy Image URL", click that. Then above the post 2 icons over from the smiley face (to the right) 'paste' the Image URL and the picture will come up, if you can get that then I can help you. Good luck!(:
Well considering you want to be able to see the block behind the first row of leaves, it's kind've like glass with it's properties. If you place 2 glass blocks side to side, and go behind the first one it looks like one block, same with the leaf block. Since all the leaves (each type) are the same as each other, unless yoou placed a different trees leaves on another color patch of leaves, it'll be hard to configure the mod to get to see leaves, I don't really think it's possible.
No problem, I try my best, but sometimes I really can't help. And this is one of those cases, but I'll be here for awhile if you have any other questions!
Here's a picture, hope it works. As you can see the smaller cube uses the same texture as the outer one. Is there a way to change that?
Try removing, the code of the inner cube, then pasting it, in a program such as paint or photoshop, change the colors, and add back the newly color coded inner cube.
How do I create a custom particle? I'm looking to create one which will shoot far away from the block that it spawned from, deal damage to mobs that it hits, have a custom texture, and be able to activate another type of block.

The custom texture part is only optional, though.
For the damage to mobs, I'd start off by looking at the codes of TNT, which is explosive, can be triggered by redstone, and deals damage to mobs. Creating a new block, would be in the texture part of the game.
could you show me how to create an armor set using an existing mod_blah blah?
please and thanks
What do you mean by existing mod? Do you mean, a mod that has custom blocks and ores? Or do you mean creating a mod with custom armour? I'm a tad confused >.<
I'm sorta 'new' to Minecraft, and I have a Mac OS X. 10.6 Snow Leopard.
I was wondering if you could tell me the easiest way to install Mod Loader, Audio Mod, And General Mods. I already have the Texture pack covered.
A little help please?

Well for Mod Loader and Audio Mod, try downloading from this forum, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v173-risugamis-mods-recipe-book-updated/page__hl__audio mod, copy and paste the URL. You need WinRAR or 7Zip installed to open the files for mods. So you can go to the options, and do 'Show Hidden Folders' and .minecraft folder will show up, make a shortcut to your desktop. Then open it up, open the 'bin' folder, and and go to the minecraft.jar file, copy and paste it into the bin folder, as a backup incase you mess up. Then right click the original minecraft.jar and scroll over; open with > WinRAR/7Zip. Then open up the Audio Mod and Mod Loader and highlight all of the files except the top one which is named '..' and drag them into the minecraft.jar. DELETE the META-INF folder, or the mods will not work. Then as you did with Mod Loader, and Audio Mod, drag the files from inside the Mod you downloaded into the Minecraft.jar file. DONT FORGET TO DELETE, META-INF. You should then be able to close all file windows, open up Minecraft, and test out the mod.
I need help with GUI (modding) I never done gui before and dont know how to start and I want to make a furnace thing like this, any help?
Look at the original codes of a furnace, seeing which ones produce the smelting process, then add those to the new block you created and try to find the codes for the interface when opening up your newly created furnace block.
