I'd like to request a tutorial. "How to make a block with a new render type." Such as making blocks render like window panes, or making vertical slabs, etc, etc...
I followed your liquid tutorial just about to the word, and I can't place a block in it like you can with water and lava. Can you point out where the code that let's that happen is, or have I screwed up majorly?
I used your tutorial for the Npc, I made my Npc able to dig, talks on right click, and he has a name,i also made him hold a weapon, but for some reason in game he doesn't hold a weapon... Here's my entity file
Hello, i really need some help right now to make my mod. Right now most of it's done, all the items and blocks but they still need textures. I've done the:
ModLoader.addOverride("/terrain.png", "/MyTexture.png");
but i cannot figure out where to put my MyTexture.png file. Mind giving me a bit of help or atleast pointing me in the right direction?

I'm making a mod that is going to add new biomes. I can't find a tutorial for custom biomes. Is this possible, or does the way minecraf code run prohibit it?
@LordPankake, I'm currently pushing through the last of the errors on making a custom biome that doesn't edit base classes.
@9skilled9, If you made it like that, the texture just goes straight into the minecraft.jar, no folders.
Thanks for the response but which jar? the one i put into mcp then decompiled? does that mean i have to recompile put my textures in then decompile it?
the current outputter for the model is dodgy, its best to write you own movement code like one i stated (just make names different for the different parts)
Thanks for the great tuts!
EDIT: Also I was wondering in the ModLoader.addRecipe function, what are the symbols (e.g ### = redstone) for netherrack and a lava bucket?
EDIT: FIXED!
does this mean that you will be updating your dimension tutorial soon?
I will be adding a bunch of new stuff today, right here, right now!
Also, I will be updating the dimension tutorial soon enough now that Shockah's API is now fixed!
Damn turtles!

@CoCoChris929, There are tutorials for keybinds on ZidMC. Refer to that for more help.
@viktorjanpaulis, I haven't added that into the code yet. Maybe later.
