Hi. Glad to see people still interested after all this time.
This site has a decent selection of free 3ds models. It's where I found the rhino for the tutorial. Googling for 'free 3d models' seems to turn up decent results as well, although it still requires quite a bit of searching.
i get that when i try the command "poly2vox" or "poly2vox rhino"
you need to make sure you are in the same directory as the place you put poly2vox. Type "dir" (without quotes) at the command prompt. If you don't see poly2vox.exe in the resulting list, then you aren't in the right directory. You'll need to use the CD command to navigate to the proper directory, or else you'll need to use poly2vox's full path when you execute it (e.g C:\Users\Kevin\Desktop\poly2vox.exe rhino )
great post on kv6s; however, let me make clear that kv6 file's will in no way work in mine craft, since the voxel engen was not used instead Minecraft is programed in java. The Voxel engen would of been great however all of the functionality options mods and texture packs simplisity would not be there. There is still much work that Kevin needs to do to make Voxels as appling as Minecraft, but hes pushn hard and I am waiting to see the offical reliese of Ace Of Spades, Created by Kevin using your listed creational tools. I am working on a Voxel and Poli combo with the polis work it as sinks for objects and enviornment. this project is not off the floor yet and im doing some deep stuff before projects release. Bla bla bla, so ya nice post on KV6s but you still can not directly use those files in Minecraft.; however, in Ace of Spades::))
Now, I've gotten as far as the "zoom in on the z slice" step. I don't have a keypad on my computer (I know, I know, I should get one). Is there any other way to zoom in on the slice without a keypad? Please help me out here.
