IGN: ltolt2 Age: 14 (15 On release date :biggrin.gif:) Location: QLD, Australia Time I will spend on this server: On Weekdays I can spend Around 4hrs a day, and on Weekends and Holidays I will be able to spend 6+hrs
WHY I SHOULD BE MODERATOR:I think that you should consider me being a moderator for lot's of reasons, For a start it is always good to have moderators from lots of different timezones to make sure that griefing and hackers are minimized as much as possible. I am also very active and can be on whenever I'm home with spare time! I'm very Mature for my age as well...Also This server sounds really really fun and I would love to help keep it running! Even end up donating once I get a Job (Probably soon after it opens)And could possibly donate $5-$10 Monthly or even $15-$20. either way you will probably definitely see me on this server whether I'm a moderator or not.

Time we will spend on Server: As much as possible. As long as we have a project to work on we tend to spend between 20-40 hrs/week
Why am I applying for both of us? We work together on everything in Minecraft except our own SSP stuff. Are designs tend to work together with great success and we come up with our best designs by bouncing them off of each other.
Why apply to be an architect for this server? We are looking for a new project and our best stuff tends to come from servers. We want one that will stay, not come and go easily.
Type of architects: Mostly city/'nation' builders. This also involves anything that goes with our designs (ie redstone circuitry, landscaping, etc)
What sets us apart? we don't have huge amount of experience on servers, only 5 have we been on for a decent amount of time, however from those servers I gathered some idea on how many seem to build. Two things we tend to do differently are using terrain and evolving our structures. While we do shape terrain somewhat, we tend to build our structures with/into the terrain, letting it influence the way a building is shaped at times. The other thing we do a lot is let our buildings evolve rather than be mostly preplanned. We start with an idea and build, and when playing SMP (which is what we do 95% of the time) our building evolve based on need or ideas. All needed or new things, including farms, mines, and buildings get integrated into existing ones. Both of these give our places a more organic feel rather than a preplanned feel.
Additional info: We like to build, its the reason we love Minecraft. And because we like to let our buildings evolve we tend to work great with a team, as we let other builders add on to our buildings as long as it fits the f;ow and feel of the overall design (ie no giant tower out of a flat building). Very few times do we ever look for others to ask to build something, and we let them no beforehand. Our best project: three complete levels of a huge Minas Tirinth including buildings, all from SMP.
Examples: Sadly I never took screenies of our server stuff, which seems to all have been wiped or deleted. However I do have a few screenies of lesser projects from my SSP and our private server.
Our first time in Minecraft ever. (Beta 1.3-1.6)
A simple structure to begin
The first rooms we ever built
A vault that had a complex redstone circuit being made. Abandoned before it was finished
A project that began as a sort of experiment that never took off because it is tough building full fledged cities a lone. Especially underground, well how i wanted it that was.
The unfinished above ground town built by my brother. Also includes the obsidian tower we built to separate the two worlds. We spawned in obsidian for the tower.
The entrance to the 'underworld' meant to scare away any possible 'overworlders.'
Our latest private project. A 'survival island' type of game. We happened to spawn near an island that had only one tree and not much else. We had actually played a sort of hardcore mode, when one died we completely started over. This was our final, greatest attempt.
Our specialized farm system, with a farmhouse/dock house in the back. Also had a temporary crude ship further behind it.
Inside our farmhouse/dock house.
Our last project before the new release, unfinished, but had large rooms and a long hidden underwater passageway leading to our main island.
Quarry Forest Island, it had... well quarries and a forest, go figure. Also a couple work sheds.
An example how we like to integrate everything we do
BTW sorry about the thumbnails it seems to be the only way it lets me post the images As I said not great stuff, but the best I can show.
