Can't wait for the launch tomorrow, will we be using 1.9 pre-release 2?
It should be Pre-release 2, PhotoGrey and I are bringing the server down tonight and testing it before launch. At worst it'll be Pre-release 1. (Plan on it being the latest though).
I am so excited. This is not only looking to be an amaaaazing server, but it's also the last shot I have at finding a server that actually roleplays, and isn't a diseased mess of empty houses.
Just a reminder to everyone - White-listing happens at 6pm GMT tonight. We'll be watching the thread here and our PM inbox during the first few hours of launch VERY closely for those that need to either get their applications still in or some of the testers who haven't gotten back to us if they were wanting to play on the live server.
Hope to see you all tonight! PhotoGrey and I tried out the new release and it looks stable enough to try over this weekend. (Animal breeding/farming was alot of fun!)
Although I'll be on my parents' shitty pc, it'll be in the middle of the night and I've got a birthday to go to tomorrow... :dry.gif:
At least I'll be able to stay on for an hour or so.
Edit: Wait, GMT now? That makes it... in 3½ hours?
Mountain Standard... I'm horrible with the different time zone shorthand abreviations. It's 9:30am here so almost 10. Sooo... T-minus 7 hours to launch.
Luckily for me I'm in the Standard Mountain time zone. I'll see you at 6pm, at the wonderful pre-1.9.2 Teyo Inala server launch... oh great Notch! Someone please traps some animals and feed them wheat in humungous amounts. We would have enough cows and chickens for cake and leather armor for everyone!

I'm going to throw on my straw hat and start up a large farm. If you provide me healthy amounts of lumber I'll provide you eggs and other foods for your resturant! (Assuming you're going to rebuild it?) :biggrin.gif:
4. Have you had any multiplayer/server experience with Minecraft?
Yes.
5. Do agree with the server rules and understand your membership could be pulled at any point based upon the staff’s decision in reference to your behavior amongst our server?
Yes.

1. Your thoughts on large cooperative construction projects?
That might be enjoyable.

That would help out in the long run.
3. Your thoughts on maintaining residence within a large server?
There is no problem with that, for me.
4. What drew you to applying for our server?
A referral from my friend Doktory and the "Sneak Peak" video on youtube.
Roleplay Section
1. Which job types are you most interested in doing? (List and explain)
*Listed most interested to least*
a. Building - Constructing all types of buildings where needed.
b. Gathering - Collecting materials for the town(s), spelunking; Those sorts of things.
c. Militia/Adventurer - Keeping the "Creatures of Darkness" at bay.
d. Townsfolk - What would a town be without a population? Somebody needs to make the bread...
2. Your thoughts on general server theme for construction?
Interesting, I like it.
3. Will you assist in the gathering/day to day functions of the towns (ie: Gather, fix, etc)?
Of course I'll help out.
4. Roleplay on Teyo Inala is limited mostly to the look of the server as well as how we gather resources and adapt the realm. Do you have any questions regarding any of this?
Not at all.

Not only am I going to rebuild it, but I'm moving it closer to the town I put it in. So people could use it more often. Plus with how I charge low prices for food, that means I could be starting a little economy.
For those that don't know: I will be giving out free mushroom stew, charging 1 log for 1 piece of cooked meat, and 1 ingot (gold or iron doesn't matter) for 1 cake. Basically I waste my time cooking, so you can do more of everything else. Hope to have the restaurant, The Pharaoh's Tomb, open by Monday. It will most likely be located in the first desert village to be found/settled in.

There's a desert biome not too far from where the mountain is! :ohmy.gif:

2. I'm 13, and I live in the central USA timezone.
3. I would rather not have my email adress floating around the internet as it has my last name.
4. I have been an admin on 3 servers and a mod on 4, but most got either shut down or I decided not to resume the postion due to other issues.
5. I agree to the rules because they're needed to maintain the server as a safe and friendly place.
Community Section
1. My view on large community construction projects is in two parts. The first part is that it should not be the large majority of the community working on it, because it can get complicated that way. I think that there should be an average sized team of builders with the rest of the community donating supplies and input. I also think the project should benefit the entire community, such as tall spider-proof wall, a piston-powered defencive front gate, or public lighting to prevent monsters.
2. Regarding input on my builds, I enjoy it. I want my builds to benefit more than just me, and if they are just personal builds, I would like them to look good so that people will want me to build more in the future.
3. I think that staying active in this large of a server is important. If there's three people living in a community of 27 houses, that makes the community look like a pile of trash.
4. I liked how, in the title, it said that the server is community driven. I think that it's important that there be staff to solve issues, but I don't like it when the staff are the people that are the people making the rules for individual communities and such.
Roleplay Section
1. Job types that I would like to have are either a builder or a city council member-type person. I would like to be a builder because, in the end, I like seeing how my projects are both benefiting and good-looking. I'm also very good at redstone, but the main part of redstone for me is making it look natural. I also enjoy having my word in how a community is run.
2. If I had to choose what the building theme is, I think that it would be to have a medievial-esque form of building
3. Of course I would help keep the community in surplus and a clean state. I just gave a rant about how having everything smooth-running and clean is a good thing.
4. I don't think I have any more questions regarding the way the server runs.
