-Not a server insanely controlled by admins where almost NOTHING is allowed.

-A server where there is no crazy dont do this dont do that rules. Wars are allowed, PVP is enabled (Player vs player combat) and building is enabled ANYWHERE other then the spawn and store server area!
Rules:
1. PvP (Player vs Player) is on, its up to you to protect yourself and your stuff. LWC Commands are there to help you. (LWC = protect your chests)
2. Make alot of money :smile.gif:
3. Build whatever you want. However please no obviously pointless 1x1 towers.
4. Hide your houses and protect them well. Pvp is on and players can start war with you if they dont like you for whatever reason. If you want your house to be server protected, save up money and buy a region! :smile.gif: (Or hide it well) Its up to you to survive!! :tongue.gif:
5. No Hacking. Fly hack, Speed hack, Air Build hack, Teleport hack or any hack for that matter is punishable. KICK/BANNED *VIOLATERS WILL BE KICKED/BANNED*

/online (Check who is online)
/rules (Read the rules)
/motd (See the message of the day)
/spawn (Teleport to spawn)
/sethome (Set the location of your home) (RESIDENT USE ONLY)
/home (Teleport to your home location) (RESIDENT USE ONLY)
/msg <players FULL name> <msg> (Send a message privately to another player)
/mail read (read your mail)
/mail clear (clear your mail)
/mail send <players FULL name> <msg> (send mail)
/jailstatus (Check how long you have remaining in jail)
/worth or /worth <item> <amount> (Check how much the item in your hand is worth or an amount of a specific item is worth) ex: " /worth diamond 10 " Will show you how much 10 diamonds are worth even if you dont possess them.
/sell (Sells whatever you are holding in your hand) You can also use /sell <amount> to sell a specific amount of whatever you have in your hand. Example: "/sell 4" while holding 30 pieces of dirt will sell 4 of them.
/balance (Checks your money balance)
/pay <player FULL name> <amount> (Pays another player money)
/lwc (Protect your chests, see spawn for details)
-Main commands for LWC: /cprivate (Use this command then left click or punch the chest you want to make private only to you, now one will be able to access this chest but you. This is the RECOMMENDED command we want you to use. /cpassword <password> (Use this command then left click or punch the chest you want yo make only openable with that password. This is mainly if you want to share the chest with a friend, if he unlocks it he also has access to it now as well. If you want to make a private chest only accessed by you we recommend you use /cprivate, it is more simple) -/cunlock <password> (Use this command then left click or punch the password protected chest to unlock it) /cpublic (Use this command then left click or punch a chest to make it a public chest. This means everyone can use it and no one can lock or protect it untill you remove the public stamp on it. Useful if you want to give away free gifts, for example, "Free wool at my front porch!" :smile.gif: ) /cinfo (Use this command then left click or punch any chest to view information on it. Information such as wether its secured, protected, passworded and so on.) /cremove (Use this command then left click or punch any chest that you previously protected to remove the protection on it)
Ability to use many of the special signs that are offered on the server. For example at a "[BUY]" sign right click it to buy the specified item.

Q. Can i sell this? Can i sell that?
A. Yes you can! Everything in the server is sellable!
Q. I want a region, can you give me one?
A. Region prices are upstairs in the store. Read that section carefully?
Q. How do I check my money? How do I sell something? How do I....... ?
A. Read the commands! They are in the spawn area and in this thread! Look a bit higher up :smile.gif:
Q. How much is dirt worth? How much is coal worth? How much is .......worth?
A. Use command /worth. Either type /worth and press enter to see how much whatever you are holding in your hand is worth or use command " /worth <item> <amount> " to see how much a specific item is worth. For example " /worth dirt 10 " would show you how much 10 peices of dirt are worth.
Q. Why is there a whitelist right now?
A. Because the server is in testing mode and is either updating or adding new features. At this time only our testers are allowed on.
Store:
A full sized store where you can purchase LITERARLY every item minecraft has to offer if you have the money for it. :smile.gif:
Residents
You become a resident when you purchase a region that is atleast a 10X Region, OR are a member of someone elses region. They must first accept you into their home and pay the fee to add you. When you are a resident you have the ability to use the /sethome and /home commands as well as the ability to set up your own store and sell your own items.
PVP Arena
Got a problem with someone?! Challenge him to a battle in the PVP Arena. Whoever dies first loses. Winner will sometimes get a prize from the admin if he is online and watches the battle. Just message an admin if youd like to set one up. However one doesnt have to be online for you to use the arena.
Regions:
Regions are for sale in the store in the second floor. (Means your houses will be protected and only you can build and destroy them in that selected region. This will cost in-game money.)
Recent Changes:
v1.05 -Those who have purchased a region over 10X now get the resident status
-Resident status now comes with a nice green chat tag!
-Only residents have the ability to use the /sethome and /home command. This has been changed for various reasons.
-Residents now have the ability to sell items! Read the instructions at the bottom of this post in the Dear Residents Section
v1.04 -Fire is now totally disabled. Can't even place it with flint and steel.
-Stopped huge chat spam users would get when using restricted items.
v1.03 -Removed the "Monster Hunt" feature of the server. Was causing major lag and isn't very stable.
v1.02 -Due to huge demand we now allow all users to use the /sethome and /home command. Enjoy! :smile.gif:

Here are your instructions on using [trade] signs to create your own shops:
We have just introduced the ability to create stores and sell your items. However at this time and most likely for a long time only RESIDENTS (Those who own a region) will be able to sell items.
The reason for this is because the main store is now going to open only from time to time. (Sometimes a couple hours a day, sometimes only an hour or two a day, sometimes not at all.) This is so that the user base has alot more control over how much items are worth and the prices are now going to be based alot more on demand. So basically if you need something really fast your going to have to buy it from one of the residents at the going price or simply look/mine/adventure for it. The store will open from time to time so dont worry, youll still be able to buy items for cheap at certain times.
Now dear Residents, How do you sell you ask? It is quite simple once you get the hang of it. Selling will be done using [trade] signs. Before we begin with the steps I want to remind you in minecraft visual updates only take place on Disconnect/Reconnect. If you want to see an updated sign, a sign you destroyed of someone elses that came back with no text, and so on, you will have to Disconnect and Reconnect to the server. You will then see the most up-to-date *VISUAL* update. Now on with the steps:

Get a sign.
2.
Place it.
3.
This is how your trade sign should look:
First line: [trade]
Second line: <$cost of your item>
Third line: <quantity> <item>:<amount available>

Ok so that may look confusing. So lets give you an example. Lets say I have 25 peices of dirt that I would like to sell in my inventory. And lets say i would like to sell them for 50 dollars each! However I dont want to sell more then 10 of them. Here is what my sign would look like:

$50
1 dirt:10
This would put 10 peices of my dirt into the trade sign and they would be selling at $50 dollars a peice. However only 10 would be for sale. I would still have 15 in my inventory which would not be available to sell.
Now one more example, lets say I have 40 peices of stone in my inventory. I want to sell it in bulk. 10 peices for $1000. And I only want to sell 30 of the 40 I have in my inventory. Heres how the sign will look:

$1000
10 stone:30
This sign would be selling 10 stones for $1000 each. It would only have 30 available which means you can only buy from it 3 times.

Last step. Get the money from the sale. How do you do this? Simple, break the sign that you made and the money will be credited to your account.
F.A.Q. PLEASE READ!
Q. My signs are not updating!
A. Signs do update. They just dont show it visually. Simply do a quick disconnect and reconnect and you will see the most up-to-date sign. This is how minecraft works. Nothing I can do.
Q. People bought from my sign, but it still says there are items in it, and doesnt show I have earned money.
A. If the items are purchased then they are gone. And If you have earned money it is there (Regardless of what the sign visually shows). As was mentioned the signs DO UPDATE, however for the Visual update to take place you must disconnect/reconnect. This is how minecraft works.
Q. What if someone breaks my sign, will they take the money in it?
A. No. No one can break a [trade] sign other then the creator.
Q. Someone just said they broke my sign and it came back with no text. Now they are laughing at me and say my signs are empty.
A. This is not true. The sign is still there and still has the text and contents of it. The reason it comes up blank for the person that broke it is because of the updating method. Signs are only updated *visually* on disconnect/reconnect. If that user simply disconnects from the server and reconnects to it, the signs will still have the text and the contents it had.
Hacking is now not allowed!
Due to people abusing fly mods and making the game unfair to others, flying is now banned, and will be punishable by a jail/kick/ban.
Sorry guys it was just unfair and hacking shouldnt be allowed.

The server will go into heavy on/off mode while testing some new things at 4pmEST - 5pmEST
I URGE EVERYONE TO DISCONNECT atleast once before then to save their inventories.

We are going to be updating alot now so were going to be offline for about 2-3 hours.
6-7pm EST is when you should expect us online.
In this test time a whitelist will be activated for testers only. Dont worry it will be disabled after testing.

Took way shorter then expected mainly because there is alot going on in the bukkit community and updates will have to wait till the weekend.
Hmm, does this mean from now on I'll simply have to be lucky to get to the shop when its open? As in, will there be set hours, or will it just be at Andrew's discretion?
In addition, will the shops new hours effect the purchase of Regions?
Region purchase can only be done when he is online... But the way I think it's going to go down is the signs will be put in an accessible location even when the shop is not open.
EDIT: It is also SUPPOSED to be done through mail.... so yeah.
